Saint Paul Vulcans vs. NJ Hitmen

NCAA All-Americans vs. Texas Wrecking Crew

both meaningful games

I know the mobsters are rooting for Texas and the Hitmen! Those games affect our playoffs in a major way.

Obviously, I have to go with the Vulcans.

Our ultimate goal is not to meet Texas or NCAA any time soon so we have to root for Texas if the Mobsters win -- to drop NCAA to 6th.

If the Mobsters lose, then we need NCAA to win and get 3rd.

As long as they are both on the opposite side of the bracket, I will be happy.

There is no luck involved in GLB. It's all about pouring countless and senseless hours into a computer program that no one (not even Bort) fully understands praying that a small percentage of what you would like to do actually happens and the rest of what happens doesn't look too ugly and cost you the game.

So I will be wishing no one good luck. Instead I will be studying a little quantum physics mixed in with some world philosophy to develop a counter-intuitive set of programming genius designed to out perform what you may think is a work of art only to realize you were out performed in a way that leaves you both perplexed and saddened as you sit and wait to see how many USA teams ahead of you go inactive so you can move up a league by default instead of winning it on your own merit.

For those of you that could not follow that (my non-Gator friends).....Good luck!!

Better quote, same movie....."There is no try, only do or do not"

Toxins vs Long Beach

It's Do or Do Not time. Long Beach 55 - Houston 31

Beantown thought they would outgun us by 30, now Long Beach says they'll take us by 24. But hey, our defense is underrated. I'm going to make a prediction and do a little trash talking at the same time here in honor of both Hobo and Kendall Gator:

In a sneak preview of the 2010 FedEx BCS National Championship Game, the Houston Toxins (aka Texas Longhorns) take down the Long Beach Dub All Stars (aka Florida Gators) with ease...

45-21
