Yes .. the whole "butthurt" thing lately has been mostly a realization of what you said right there .. and for me that is particularly painful because I do care .. I dont know how not to.



Once you realize that Bort has no clue or long-term plan for the where he wants the design of the game to go, and basically just caves into people whining and their suggestions without really thinking the effects of that through, it gets a lot easier to not care.

This game has been open since March. 10 months, and NOW he's posting a poll on where the design of the game should go?

With a project of this size, you need to have development and how you're getting there mapped out before it goes live and then work towards that goal. STARTING to do that a year in is just absurd.

If you think that's adequate planning for any type of game development, or a major project of any type, I'm sorry, you're wrong.

Some of the things ARE out of his hands.. but they are out of all of our hands equally. I think Randy wants to think that the sim crapped on him but none of us ever struggle to overcome funky sim issues. Ultimately there is no reason for anyone to give credit to anyone other than you guys. You had a heck of a game.

I completely agree with that .. and I havent ever said that the sim is perfect, if you would have asked me for the past 2 seasons if I have had issues with the AI following what I program, Id have told you yes. However, that was not the issue in this game, it was a change to the code of the sim itself this season. I also understand that these are changes that everyone has to deal with .. I was just showing my displeasure in it.

That isnt to say that I shouldnt have scouted and seen that the sim was making CBs freeze in place for 2 seconds on pump fakes, I have seen it in other games, I just didnt believe it was pump fakes, I was like "no way". But clearly if its pump fakes .. now they are really out of control this season, so all we need to do is put in a QB with a lot of pump fake, a WR with 120 speed this season and we are golden, Im pretty sure that was flame54's offense before he sold his team.
