Don't like cover 3.

It takes 2 CB's out of the play, and who the SS and LB's man up on is kind of a crapshoot.

Also, there isn't any 4WR formations, yet.

I like cover 3 in a deep prevent, and thats about it.. pretty situational.

DB do you ever sent the LOLB out in a zone coverage when you know a screen pass or pitch is coming?

I have a very specific play where I will use "zone underneath" as a setting. Otherwise, I agree, its not worth shit. And the play I am talking is not a pitch.

I used to use a 3-3-5 zone against the WR screen. It worked well enough. However, there are far too many deep routes out of the Single Back/3-wide that can blow it all to Hell.
