IMO, no, dont buy any of the eq on this thread.
My CBs bought a +3 agility +1 Jump catch piece and a +2 speed +1 SV piece. Confidence isn't worth it.... And never buy anything that's a +1 to a SA with nothing else on it.
And never EVER buy anything that's +2%/5% FF/tackling/interception/etc. They're almost never worth it.
you are missing the point. if a piece of EQ comes up that has a useful SA, buy it. money is so worthless in this game. if you are on a team that won't give you the equipment fund to buy it then you have bigger problems than AEQ.
once you have it you can upgrade it to store your bonus points. then, once you finally roll that perfect piece you can buy it, sell your old one, and upgrade it with 100% of the points you spent on the other one. the only thing it costs you is the cash cost of the AEQ pieces, which as I mentioned should be a non-issue.
yeah, you can spend you player's whole career trying to roll that perfect piece, but in the end if you don't buy one of theses pieces then one or both of two things happen:
1. since you don't buy ANY AEQ, you stack up bonus points that you never use
2. at the end of the year you lose all but 10 of those points.
