What would you say if: I said I have below 40 tackling and have missed 2 tackles in the past 20 games?

Even against one of the premiere power HB's (Larry Csonka) I missed 0 tackles and made 4 tackles on him.

And people say Power HB's are overpowered heh.

well I hope you would with that many people hitting him and slowing him down
Larry Csonka rush [missed tackle: Horace Yates] [missed tackle: Strak Attack (Power Through)] [missed tackle: The Hurt (Power Through)] to the left (2.5 yd gain) [tackle: Riggs Inator]

and as slow as he went through the pack here, its a wonder he was even touched
Larry Csonka rush [missed tackle: Horace Yates] up the middle (3.5 yd gain) [tackle: Riggs Inator]

That guy is widely known as the best power back in the game. Him missing two tackles in 20 games is pretty damn good. and did he mention he has less than 40 tackling?
riggs did you set it on wrap up? or power tackling? i keep my guy on power.

you play on wrap up? because even with 40 str and 35 tackling you won't miss on wrap up.

I'm usually always on wrap up. I make so few tackles as a FS that when I do have to make it, I'm usually the last hope of saving a TD. Plus I went on Medium/Hard for a while but saw less FFums than I did on wrap up. Now those FF's are pretty nonexistent because A) I'm on a good defense so I rarely make tackles in the running game. B) My strength isn't with the new curve of carrying that everyone seems to be going for. People used to rarely add to carrying heh.

Since my guy's 2nd season his need to make tackles has been declining. Just recently hit 40 tackling, (I've trained it up from around 23 for quite a while along with Tackling and Catching and Strength. Though my strength is in the mid 30's).

Jack hammer is for PD's, not FFums. Would want the fumble machine VA or whatever its called.

My lvl 30 SS is at 36 for both str/tkl, he has 54 tkls and only 1 missed tkl so far this year. He ends up playing like a linebacker and hitting the running lanes quit a bit and still manages not to get run over. Only one more missed tackle then mouldsie's guy who's soft capped on both atts...

He's my first player, but if I could do it him over again, I wouldn't do anything more then train str/tkl until something in this game drastically changes and makes those 2 atts mean something.

I'm working the same angle. Both my SS / FS play a lot on special teams. Looking for the fumbles on ST.

I'm making a slow build now. 3rd cap vision, 2nd cap agility/speed, then work on the rest of the attributes . Probably strength tackling to cap, while training jumping catching to 35
