All joking aside, your our matchup with you guys terrifies me and the first 10 weeks of the season is testing for that game in my opinion. I just hope we are lucky enough to steal a victory from you guys.
Subterfuge? Unless I'm missing something, your record is the same as ours, as is Orlando, OFG & The Bullets. I'll concede that we made ourselves better on paper than last season (at least I sure the hell hope so), but that doesn't mean much until the fat lady sings, and I don't see her singing. Besides, I always honestly thought you had the better teams before, just that my GP hit right and we got the breaks in our Ws. I hope you're right about us pulling ahead, but I'm not holding my breath on that one yet.
Without a doubt, the Shockers game will be a big one for us, but I can't afford to look ahead. First, we've got to go through the gauntlet with RI (who plays us tough as hell every time we've played them), LV Gamblers (who I have no clue how we match up with yet at all), The Bullets (who is the only established team in the East that we've never beaten), OFG's (who has always been a top 20 team in GLB, IMO) and Philly (who will undoubtedly right their ship by week 8). I know damn well that if I treat any one of those games as a scrim for you guys that you may as well give us the L for that game now. I'm just thankful that we have a CPU Doomsday the game before ours, so I can spend a little extra time getting ready.
