Season Eight is under way starting tomorrow and it looks like the Saipan Fighters have been revived for one more season. Cheese McMasters finally surfaced after doing a great job of recruiting. Unfortunately ended up short on funds to make the purchase of the Saipan Fighters. Comicfanman was released from prison and actually found that he had hit the lotto with the gift Arizona lottery ticket from pontiacnutt. So comicfanman retains posession of the Fighters for one more season and invested in the construction of the damaged stadium and 5 full sections have been built with full seating capacity. Poor old Ray Finklesteinsburg is finally out of the hospital recovering from his gun shot wound and healing his pride wound after losing the deal on the sale of Saipan. If anyone is looking to sell look him up he is a little short now and may be heading out of town to find new business transactions.
Saipan police finally announced that the body found in front of the building was actually the son of janitor Zho. Zho had an issue with his son surpassing him in salary when the entire time he was making up the work the son had not been doing. Words led to that fateful night and now there is a need for two janitors in the Saipan Fighters home. So if you are looking for work get your application in as fast as possible. Things are looking to be very messy with the season starting tomorrow.
With comicfanman retaining ownership the Fighters retain their mascot and will not have a name change. Comicfanman stated that he is glad that things were resolved and has made pontiacnutt a major shareholder in the team for the gift that landed big buck in his pockets.
You may have noticed some roster changes in Saipan as they landed some big time players. Out with some old timers and new faces for the fans to get to know. Joining the Fighters this season hoping to make an impact are the following players.
New to the offensive line - (C) Ron Acres, (C) Dany Flaherty, (OT) The Animal, (G) Hyun Mi, and (G) Steven Ferris.
New to the receiving crew - (WR) Devine Hester, (WR) Duval Kamara-->, and (TE) Rey Ashmond
New to the defensive line - (DT) Captain Sacks ALOT and season 3 member (DE) Lahj Johnson makes his return
New to the linebacker staff - (LB) Lava Flow
New to the defensive backfield - (SS) Mark Gregory, (CB) Hammer LockDown, (CB) Jason Deville, (CB) Bryan Willams, and (CB) Zo Lawrence
What kind of difference will this make for Saipan? Well it messes with the chemistry but the odds are in favor of Saipan this season to make the playoffs. A place they have not been since season one. Where will Saipan stand at the end of the season and is this so called Guam Tigers really the team to beat? Well we all have to Stay tuned.....
