VIscount, you are completely misunderstanding the mechanics of the game. Everything is a formula. When the QB goes to throw the ball, all these numbers are thrown into a formula.
Why did the FS and other defenders not react the same way even tho they could have had higher vision? Because the roll of the dice didn't come up the same way it did for me. It's not a game of absolutes where getting your stats to one level will automatically make event "a' occur every time.
This is my exact point!
What I've repeatedly posted is that you cannot simply say that you made that play because of your vision, as there are so many other factors going into the equation other than just vision.
Your thread title is "Vision in action", it is not "I got a lucky INT roll due to a combination of all my attributes and SAs versus that of the QB and WR".
I reiterate what I said above.

Bort has stated that defenders get their swat/INT roll before WRs get their catch roll. So the fact the pass was going to your zone could've allowed your SS to react to it, his speed, agility and possibly vision got him in the right position and then your agility, jumping, Sticky Hands, etc. allowed you to make the INT.
I'm not saying my theory is definitely correct, but you can't specifically say that the reason you made that INT was due to vision.
Take this CB for example: http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=26673
He had 9 INTs in USA Pro last season but I can't say that the only reason he got those INTs is because he had soft capped catching, or that it was just because he has 11 Superior Vision. There are so many underlying possible factors.

I know vision is great. But My s.s. only has 50 vision in favor of more str. and he does just dandy in AA. But I am certainly thinking about bringing vision to 60, eventually.
