Great idea that way the player's have to go to the team that drafted them.

yep yep thats the idea, it be hot to cuz near seasons end the draft team could start loading up on players and shit and promoting them for the draft.
hell if we had scrims in the offseason then the draft team could take a few scrims and people could see what the draft boys got and shit.
If i could get a team right now I'd so make a draft team

I'd make a player, although we could have a set salary range for each pick and a scouting process. The scouting process would be using the 40 time, vert jump etc. We could also include an interview.

How would it work exactly? Are teams completely building their roster for this draft? Or is it like an NFL draft where you're looking to fill a hole or two. If its the second I would be in

I see it basically as a tool to fill holes, that's my take, at least, I've offered a couple players, and I'm in, so we'll see where it goes,..
and this is a well-organized effort, imo, send a pm to the Guardsman at the top of the thread and you will see.

Bort needs to create a World League (top 32 teams from all the Pro leagues) - which would then be the only league eligible to draft from lower levels. Any player on a team reverting to CPU control at any level, plus any Pro player would be eligible to be drafted. Pro level teams would be eligible for cash compensation if their players are drafted while still under contract.
This way, you've only got the very top dealing with the draft (which kills the whole reason behind the NGH designation) and agents and owners who want to really conquer the game have a goal to shoot for (getting into the ultra-exclusive club that is World League)

I think that will also provide a good case study to compare stats, so it isn't a perpetual pissing contest.
