As per My teams request here is my acceptance speech
Thank you GLBPA for this . Coming from the players in the league it is truely an honor. I consider myself a player first owner, this is a game and I have tried to keep it fun for everyone that plays for me.
The secret to our success has been the quality agents and GM's that have been involved with the Evil Monkeys. If it weren't for GM's like Jdros13, Xcoach2 and JFbueno Monmouth wouldn't have had the great history that we have to this point. I am little more than the ringmaster of the greatest group of guys in this game.
We have a core group of agents that we have built around since season 1 and with the yearly additions of fresh talent we have been able to secure our place among the games elite franchises. Stats and personal achievements are secondary to wins for every agent in Monmouth. That is why this award is shared with every player, agent and GM on the team.
I would also like to thank my true inspiration BEER.

Benitos and Nighthawks started in AAA or better in S1. CV had to work from SA A to USA Pro. Nothing against Havoc.

I checked out coachvikings teams season 6 schedule and saw he lost to those teams, and since the award is only for season 6 I got to wondering.

The Nighthawks had about four distinct agents on their roster. Doesn't take away from their accomplishments, but owners like MEM are doing it the old fashioned way.

He said it was close...obviously Benitos coach finished 2nd...
...it's not always the team with the best record out there that gets the coach of the year awards....
