how many pts have you on this?
and that +5%...how works?
I mean...every pts in Sure hands give +5%?
so 2 pts = +10%
3 pts = +15%

Soooo (this doesnt work if its a pass deflection per Bort) If you "drop" a pass...and you have 3 points into "sure hands" then 15% of the time the computer will let you roll a 2nd time to see if you catch it. (you wont ever really know if it worked or not though..you will just see a catch or a drop.)

you can simply try to get open
or raise your catching and jumping attributes to lower the defender's chance to make a succesful deflection

Any update on the effectiveness of sure hands this season? I'm just now getting VA points and trying to decide where to put them.

I spent 10 in sure hands before the season started and saw a noticeable decrease in drops, very glad i invested points there. obviously you need to invest a lot of points in this one until you can see it effectiveness, but I was happy with the 50% chance it gave me to retry this season. i'll will eventually get sure hands to its max of 15, just deciding if I should do that before or after maxing track star and quick

Everyone had a decrease in drops/fumbles this season, your ability likely had little to do with it

hmm I doubt that confidence directly affects your anti-deflection roll
it probably does indirectly by affecting morale which affects all your attributes... but oh well

I doubt it directly affects the anti-deflection roll as well..but imo it prob does prevent the deflection in the first place. Confidence to go after the ball more than just wait for it..aka get in front of the defender etc etc.
My brother has a WR who has always preached about how good Confidence is...this season. 99 receptions..zero drops.
Maybe a fluke..but i doubt it. Im not saying everyone will get zero drops with a high confidence. But i AM saying that a low confidence will certainly get you MORE drops.
