Nice write up. I generally agree about having teams with the same place name in the same league, but the Oregon Orangutans have had their name since season 4, when we took over a gutted team. After 3 years of getting our heads beat in, it's nice to finally be able to field a competitive team. We'll see what we do on the field, but we should definitely have our best season ever. Of course, that would only take 3 wins.

Awesome write up! And you are dead on with your assessment of Lexington. We have some very strong players, but there are a couple of spots that really lack depth and that is what killed us when we were in AA4.

A little Lynx history for anyone who cares to read... we started in USA BBB3 in Season 2 under the excellent leadership of our original owner ColtCrazy74. We prided ourselves in flying under the radar and building a strong team. Our OL was impressive that season (something we have been trying to build back to ever since) and our defense was strong and in the playoffs we scored two big upsets before falling to the eventual league champions in the Conference Championship game. During that offseason, we were offered the chance to swap up to USA AA4 and we jumped at the chance. We fared decently our first season, but, unfortunately, because of some rookie mistakes by one of our GMs (um... me to be exact), we were hamstrung in the next offseason and were unable to pursue any high level FAs. I was granted ownership of the team after our original owner had to relinquish ownership due to RL issues. Yet, he still remins loyally with us!

Last season was a real meat grinder after the realignment of teams. AA4, which had always been tough, became staggeringly difficult. We were out leveled by nearly every team and only won games against slow build teams, gutted teams and CPU teams. So, when the opportunity arose to ask for reassignemnt, I jumped at the chance because our loyal veterans deserved to be in a league where we actually had a chance to compete and win some games.

So, we were fortunate enough to be assigned here, and I am very VERY happy we were. This looks to be a really fun league and we are looking forward to competing here. I am lucky to have a great group of vets who are extremely loyal and they are looking forward to winning some games and participating in some really competitive, tough games as well.

Good luck all and here's to life in DA 7!

What Im seeing is the Richmond Empire with go at least 12-4 unless we get upset or we upset another team. But we will be in the playoffs agter just our 3rd season from rebuilding. Not bad if you ask me.

Oh and DMbullet will make a run for most rushing yards this season.

I mean yeah Richmond is turned around quite a bit but I think you're going to end up like the Lions "We're going to go 10-6" prediction.

But if you don't believe it, odds are pretty good that it won't happen. (Wow, that looks weird coming from Mr. Sandbagger himself. )

I have us losign to the Alamo City Souljahs but being in the game. Not a blow out.

But it will be a good game as last season. Good coaching on our part could give us an upset.

As far as you Seirus, The bobcats could not beat us last season what makes you think you can this season.
