Actually, I will comment. The fact that you have us in the "Your going to lose in the first round regardless" category is retarded. Just ask HHW how they felt about us last season, and I guarantee it won't be that.

That's why I always have the pre-season disclaimer stating "As is usually the case with this type of ranking, there will be mistakes made because well builds > levels and some people are great game planners while others just suck."

Take these for what they are worth. One person's opinion... an opinion that is often wrong... but is meant to give the league something to talk about it.

I have thick skin, so I don't mind negative comments. I understand that teams take pride in their teams but I try and be as subjective as I can with these (I even rank my own team 6th/14 and we haven't been a non top 5 team in eons).

If I'm wrong, I've always manned up and admitted it too. It's happened more than once (just ask the Fire, I was WAY wrong on them back in AA#3, hell I bet they are just licking their chops hoping they get to play us in the out of conference game lol).

Hazy and I have our disagreements. He is correct about my feelings on his rankings and especially his preseason one. Grain of salt. ESPECIALLY coming into a new league where he is not fully aware of what the talent is here. I dont know how far off he is here as I have MM as the 6th best team and easily could drop to 7th.

It's all good Blood, I've never had any hard feelings about it and I completely understood where you and your team were coming from.

And if it's ok with you I'd rather play the Penguins in our opener.

Last season I blew a lot of smoke when it came to winning. This season I am pretty sure we got about 10-6 and sit 3-8 in the playoffs.

Yeah, yeah, yeah that insults the other Pro teams, whatever I'm bringing the hate this season.

Thats why I keep my rankings quiet lol. Internal bragging. Plus I dont want to draw to light the sleeper teams out there

No true hard feelings Hazy. I understand how hard it is and you deserve your right to have a rankings even if I disagree with the methods or contents or both. All good. Preseason rankings are hard and I wouldnt want my guesses (even educated ones) to be in the record books for criticism. No glory if you are right and all bad if you are wrong heh.

I may take drawing Boston just to end that streak but I cant lie, I hope we draw the Gamblers

10-6 will NOT be 3rd or 4th in West either. That will probably net you 6th or 7th. There are still a lot of teams significantly below the top tier to have 10-6 be 3rd/4th.

a 9-7 team will miss the playoffs.

I had it once Not pretty at all. Nope not at all.

To clarify, the only dropoff Bourbon Street experienced was that we didn't bother playing last season. It was the heart of Fantasy Football season for us and we are a group of avid FF owners. So we set Basic Tactics and let it ride all season (this is pretty easily confirmable).

Now that FF season is over, that is no longer the case. We will actually return to active GLB playing this season, I think. We certainly plan to be one of the top teams in USA Pro again this season.

Oh, and for the record, Basic Tactics sux. But LOFL that we still made the playoffs using them in every game last season.

Edit to add: Yay for me making my first post since Season 5. I seriously didn't log in to GLB most days last season...

yea, I played 4 games in a row with Auto Adjust at 100% in Season 5 and Advanced AI off. Was not a fan.

I just thought they disabled all UGA fans CPUs...I guess I was wrong. Still haven't seen many around since that buttwhoopin!

Eh, we just didn't have the time nor inclination to deal with the playbook and Advanced AI stuff last season. FF season definitely takes precedent for me and most of the BSB guys...

Heck, in case we lose interest this season, anyone who has spent hours preparing Offensive and Defensive AI is welcome to send theirs over to me at any time.
