He's right, I'm fairly sure Bort has confirmed that SAs work better with high correlating stats (i.e. are multiplicative). I think that Power Through is less so because it has to trigger and doesn't work constantly, so if you really wanted to make this HB, it would be a good idea to invest in Lower Shoulder as well to give a constant increase to break tackle chance.

It also says it in the SA's description

Would anybody argue with this?

Level 48
Speed: 80.61 (114.61 w/ EQ)
Agility: 76.61
Strength: 62.61
Carrying: 49.61
SAs
0-0-0-0-0 (0-0-4-0-0 with +4 First Step f/ AEQ)
2-3-5-9-0 (3-4-6-10-1 with +1 to the tree f/ CEQ)

I'm not going to say it's bad, but there are endless ways it could be better.

not bad at all, but i'd sacrifice the speed EQ for strength EQ to break more tackles and run on power, personally.

Of course it'd run on power. And the Speed EQ is the main point of the build; plow through the defenders, and have the speed to take it to the house when there's nothing between you and the endzone.

60 strength isn't enough for a power back, imo

It isn't a power back. It's a combo back, but it would run on power.

If you've never seen a Bo Jackson highlight, look it up. That's what I'm going for. He wasn't shifty or elusive AT ALL but he was fast enough to hit the corner, knock people the fuck out, and then had the breakaway speed to make everybody else look slow.

It's often something like:

Your base "break tackle" score is 30.

You activate "power through"

It gives you a +1 at level 1, a +2 at level 2, etc. (those are not the actual values)

So now your score is 31 or 32, compared to the other guy's tackle score.

I know a guy with a back like this, only a little less agility/more speed, and less power through. Runs on power. VERY effective build.
