Question: If I gave everyone big bonus and higher wages what will I have to put in stadium? Answer: not as much money coming in.
Better wages = less in stadium = less money coming in= finances going down when we move up = players leaving and me not being able to afford to sign any players=me selling my team. .

Consdering that your stadium is enough to match teams that have been in existence 1-2 seasons longer than you have, pretty sure you can afford equipment even if you raised wages on your current roster by 25%.

But hey, since you run your team so well and have a good record, I'm sure your current policy is working wonders for you.

Let's hope it doesn't end up that minimum wages = few human players = team lacking depth = team losing because of depth = players leaving = owner selling team because of frustration at being unable to recruit.

There's actually a lot of truth in that statement. And not so as in the teams he likes, but representing a team in general limits you from recruits. Ex. Not many Browns/Ravens/Bengals fans would want to play for the Pittsburgh Steel.

damn.

Let me tell you how much this sucks. I just offered a guy a max contract with a max signing bonus and $2Million in equipment. Still rejected.

That would be nice if guys volunteered to be drafted and whoever wants to remain a free agent could do that as well.
