Depends what your base Kicking is. With level 15 Soccer Star, i'll have approx 90 base Kicking (in game)

That means I can move equipment elsewhere. A Soccer Star/Swagger combo might be the way to go for most K's. Although Clutch is always an option.

I'd love some clarification on motivational also. I'd definately boost that on my punter if it works for anyone on the bench.

I did Level 8 for Motivational Speaker and Level 8 in Clutch for my Level 38 kicker. If you have built your kicker/punter properly you shouldn't really need the 1% basic skill bonuses, as you should already be performing well.

Some guy: Can I assume from your response Bort that Clutch does in fact also help special teams, and not just offense and defense, so it would be a valuable attribute for a Punter trying to make a clutch coffin corner kick?

For punter, why not go:

Soccer Style
Motivational Speaker
Clutch

Then you maximize their skill set and help your team all at the same time. From that stand point, if you're playing for a crappy team...you could always go with Big Heart. LOL

Right. If I went with +15 Soccer Star, I'd have 96 base kicking. Currently with EQ my Kicking/Confidence is 99.63/79.8

I can confirm that.

Bort confirms this as the description on the SA has been modified.

For punters, I can certainly see using Clutch. But Soccer Kicker and Motivational Speaker seem more valuable overall.

Of course, I have ZERO evidence that "clutch" made the difference, but ..... !

I think my guy will go Soccer Star -> Swagger -> Workout Warrior...but I'm not set on 2/3 yet. Might level up both at the same time.
