Already in season 6 there were perennial playoff teams that didn't make the cut for the first time. It will be even tougher with some good teams joining, but some that move up could be in for a rude awakening and miss the playoffs as well.

The key will be how these teams respond. Do they make some adjustments and turn it around to return to competitiveness? Or do they fold and gut and continue the GLB cycle?
