You know, just because I dislike those that yell "foul play" when they lose a game that they should have...I'll post a small sample of how Minneapolis Masterminds gameplan was effective.
As the DC, I noticed that Seattle uses quite a bit of pitch running plays out of the I formation. So, I implemented the DE contain defensive play to contain those pitch plays against the I formation. Here is the best example in our game, although there are a few others where it was successful: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=285908&pbp_id=12470969
Now, not saying that I didn't expect a close game by Seattle...but thats the way the cookie crumbles on GLB. I don't know how effectively Seattle gameplanned against us at all, but I do know that both of our offensive and defensive coordinators have gameplanned and watched WAY more game films than we have all season long this past week. Sorry your team got beat, but you could at least be somewhat respectful to those teams that pulled out the upset.
I think Seattle is a quality team with some quality owners. None of them have came on here crying "bad sim", although I'm sure they are just as disappointed as you are.
Look superstar, congratulations on your win but DE contain is not the difference in an undefeated team getting beat by 4 touchdowns to a team that they beat by 20 earlier in the season. I never once stated that any of the underdogs did not have the ability to beat their opponent, I am questioning the score differential.
Did I say that one play was the difference?...nope. I simply stated one play specifically added for Seattle, because of effective gameplanning. Both on offense and defense there were plenty of more specific plays added to exploit matchup and plays, but why show you everything we adjusted?
And your right, they did beat us by 20 earlier in the seasonbefore we boosted. If nobody knows, we had VERY low stamina to begin the season because of the way we built our team. If you take a close look at that game even, which again was before we boosted, you will see that we stuck with them until the 2nd half when they scored 16 to our 0. So, until Stamina kicked in it was a 4 point game at half...and again that was before we boosted.
You guys are so bitter that you schedule a rematch? Are you serious?!? Wow, maybe the sim will "roll" in your way this time...LMAO. I'd say you should both keep the same gameplans, otherwise you'll come in here showing the that you possibly beat them in this rematch...but fail to mention that it was with a different gameplan.
