MVP shouldn't rely on stat padding... Unfortunately... that's the only thing people know how to look at. It's a shame.

58 sacks by a LB. Nah. No stat padding there.

We're going to throw them a curve ball in the postseason. We're going 5 WR all game long. They'll be scheming to stop Skip, and he won't even get a carry.

They'll never know what hit them.

First... I think each conference should have it's own MVP because there really wasn't enough "interleague" games to justify a meaningful comparison...

But for MVP... If you referring to the most valuable player who dominated both the run and the pass and led a unit that finished #1 in every motherfucking statistical category....

I present your Western Conference MVP in a landslide:

Wife Beater, LB, Oakland BlackReign
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=257599
58 sacks (#1 league, #1 team)
4 FF (#4 league, #1 team)
124 tackles (#12 league, #1 team)

He was the unquestioned leader of a defense that did this:

#1 defense against the run
#1 defense against the pass
#1 defense in points allowed

Team Record (15-0)

As a point of comparison... no offense in the Western Conference finished #1 in all 3 categories and no offensive player dominated both the run and the pass.

There's absolutely no justification to vote for anybody else over what Wife Beater did this season.

I rest my case.

I suggest you represent your argument, because you are stating #1 in league in a few different categories where you mean to say conference, because I gaurantee you arent #1 in sacks in the league and the #1 run defense in the league (DLDT allowed NEGATIVE 479.5 yards on the ground for the year and Little had 76 sacks - I decided not to pull ALL the stats after those two...I can if you want however....)

Well cause we aren't a top team I'd like to put in a nomination for our DE Buzzsaw:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=157681&playoffs=0

183 tackles
67 sacks
5 FF

Cleveland is the 4th rated pass defense, despite being a lower top 10 team overall. We have some good guys in the secondary and such, but up front Buzzsaw is the focal point of our pass defense.
