I usually don't self-promote, but I think that Ankle Breaka should be considered. He helped transform the Nighthawks into a playoff team, and out rushed the next player by almost 600 yards.

And he deferred alot of close goal line touches to his friend and teammate Bugsy Malone.

As former teammate of the Sex Cannon. I can without a doubt say that he deserves this award.

I was just coming in here to post this exact thing.

Without Ankle Breaka, the Nighthawks would once again be standing on the outside looking in. No one player meant more to our team than Ankle Breaka. His rushing yards gained this year blows away all other rushers in the league.

As a current teammate of the Sex Cannon, I must agree.

look at how many times he rushed more, then compute the avg. what do u have?

also, minus the CPU game since the next player only got 9 rushes, and u get what?

He has as many fumbles as he does touchdowns.

His two fumbles for 14 points lost the game against Paris (doesn't include the other two fumbles where his teammates saved his ass). His two fumbles for 10 points lost the game against Woodridge. But he did a good job racking up 1450 yards as a feature back against the bottom 5 teams in the conference. 43% of his yardage came in the 31% of the games that mattered the least to his team.

Not what I'd call MVP performance.

Again, he isn't on goaline formations. If he were, he would have at least 10+ TD's on his stats. Actually forget about stats for a little bit. You can't rank a player based on his stats only, i watched every single game (i don't expect you to) and i saw how many times he made plays to give the team what it took takes to win. He did fumble the ball sometimes and that is a problem but the solution was found. He did a helluva job pouning the ball and making this team score a good amount of points against any opponent on this conference at least. Knowing how much important he is to this team makes me say he really deserves the title of Most Valuable Player. I don't expect you all to agree with me but i think he ought to be at least in the top 5.

All the top rushers in the league have about the same about of fumbles per carry. And Ankle has thanked his teammates every time they have fallen on something he has lost.

Fair enough, can't say I went through every play of the season... and you're right, MVP moments aren't captured by stats. With his teammates all saying he's their difference-maker, he's obviously doing his job well.

There are a lot of great running backs in the league this year but I need to at least put the FTA's Darren Dickey into the discussion. Our change of pace running back who managed an impressive 2500 yards in just 275 carries. That's 9.1 yards per carry. Throw in 28 touchdowns and you have some pretty solid numbers. Darren also straight up won some games for us this year and is one of the reasons we made the playoffs.
