Yep and I would have accepted your scrim offer Jamz, but you are also a GM for Percival and well .. you have a good team and I figure that your team might be like Percival so I didnt want to give you too much to go off of to beat us.

Already playing the Drinkin Hellraisers is a bit of a stretch because Stobie is basically the figurehead over there and a lot of the LRCs have influence in that whole circle, but I played Stobie because I like Stobie.

Ufa isn't afraid to play people. We got our butts whipped by plenty of teams in the top 100. Lolifax, West Scranton, Hellraisers, Porto Alegre Smugglers

No worries, another time perhaps. We (PD, MCD) should probably consider arming 1 team with all of our players, and putting focus on one team. But we kinda like keeping them separate and competitive.

I don't do any of the game planning for PD, so you definitely won't have to worry about that.

I just try to use friendlies against the better teams to learn from for MCD's own use. Nothin' crazy. Plus I wanted to see how bad you'd slaughter us.

No offense, but I don't think any of us give a shit about the top 100 owners forums opinions of our teams.

Well said, but he has a valid point that Prague was actually able to improve thanks to things they learned playing those scrimmages. Some from preparing for the scrimmages, some from watching the replays to see what did and didn't work, and some even from PMs between owners who are willing to help one another out with a few hints once they've established mutual respect.

There's only so much you can learn from playing all your scrimmages against only your current agents' teams. It's incestuous.

Yeah thats the real issue, even just playing inside the old static leagues, it took the Scotch Cocks to come in and issue a real wakeup call to EE Pro about how we needed to improve pass coverage here, because we werent like CPL, we didnt get thrown at every game by good passing teams with high speed/agi WRs like elite teams have and we were the 1940s version of football over here, while CPL was at least in the 1980s.

Also it happens a lot in builds, if people dont get a 2nd and 3rd and 4th opinion about builds, what happens is that builds get incestuous, thats the main problem of the Margaritaville Fins, their owner owns the entire damned team and has no GMs, no new blood, no new ideas and never has. So it was a crapshoot if he would build his players right or not, he did somewhat, but his OTs are slow as hell and hes paid for it the last 2 seasons, the previous 4 seasons .. he just dominated, but now with fast DEs .. hes paying.

Thats why Ive always encouraged in my assessments teams that I felt had levels that were higher than their scouting bars (scouting bars arent everything but they do give a good idea about what cap their primary base stats are sitting at), that these teams should bring in new blood, new GMs that would take a look at their builds and help them sooner than later. Honestly right now with people around or above L40, its pretty much too late to fix players. We have a life long Prague player, who has never played a down on another team that we are going to have to let loose this season, its just pretty evident that this player is a weak link .. weve given him 2 seasons now to fix the build, but even 2 seasons at this high of level isnt enough to fix a build that wasnt started right, its just the sad reality of GLB.

Vaadwaur is kinda looking that way too. For the longest time we've kept the same group of core players, but if we want to compete in this league, we know we're going to have to do a little remodeling this offseason.

There's not going to be too much overturn, we don't want to mess up the fun we have in the forums because, quite frankly, that's more important then a 65x65 .GIF next to our names, but we're definitely going after a bunch of players this season.

We were so damn close to upsetting some great teams this season, I honestly feel like we're only a few pieces short of really competing for that top tier of teams.
