Yes but the CB has "return spec" Buried as the 3rd SA in the tree...

CB is good and all..but HB is the best IMO (WR is a close 2nd)

I not would call return spec buried since it's behind 2 SAs that are required for returners anyway.

There aren't any SAs that are required. The only SAs I've found useful are First Step, Lower Shoulder and Power Through.

I have 2 players with 10 Quick Cut that have played on KR/PR and I barely saw any benefit. I've tried a WR with 9 Spin as well and that didn't help at all.

My CB is purely designed for KR/PR and hasn;t done badly at all. He also does okay as a CB - though he is specifically designed to return.

I think I will go with a WR for the SAs, I thought about HB, but I'd rather have First Step 1st. How should I go about building my returner? How far should I go with speed before training anything else?

HBs are the best, easily.

DE gets the biggest bonus to speed (0.5 from level 1) on level ups. Same for agility. It also has First Step and Change Direction as the first two skills in the tree.

I agree absolutely. DE gets the most points by levelling up in Speed and Agility, and gets great Strength as well. Pump up those 3 attributes while training Carrying and Vision, and you have one hell of a KR/PR.

CB's do not suck. Our returnman is a CB and he's a beast. He's actually one of our "Top Player Threats".
