I don't see your reasoning, but I think you're making my point.

$800,000 for +4 measly points?
And that x every LV 32 player on your team?
That's millions and millions of $.

And for $800,000. How much "better" is a player going to be at, say,
"76" tackling vs "72" tackling?

I guess you're missing my point. You'll make so much money building your stadium the right way; what else do plan on doing with the money????? My team has an extra $13 million just sitting around waiting for me to pay for equipment and the last few sections of my stadium. You don't get to use the money in real life; why not pay for equipment?

OHhhhhhhh. GotCha.

The problem is that the Java Monkeys started with nothing.
Absolute zero. 2 1/2 seasons ago.
And can stadium build (if they're lucky enough to have any
money left over + a loan) once per season.

We definitely do not have $13 Million laying around.

Here's Cappuccino Field:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/stadium.pl?team_id=1411

And believe me - it took a helluva lot of team management to get
2 100 level corners built.
And our fan base lives in the ghetto.

I think we're like a lot of teams.
And that's why $200,000 - for us - for 1 skill point is a ridiculous amount of money.

Considering our income - the fact that we have 5 or 6 players listed as
conference leaders, including the #1 HB - is a miracle.

And this goes back to my other post in the other thread that new teams have to be given either more money or a better stadium or be forced to endure their first year as a losing year. There's no way to field a competitive team and build a stadium at the same time.

You start off with 1.5 million and can take out a loan of 1.5 million; so with 3 million you can buy what two sections of your stadium? Of course then you'll have to wait to sign players and you won't have any money for bonuses and you'll get hit by the Team Chemistry bug.

Or you take that 3 million and sign everyone you can. Don't go for any trades because they cost too much and hope you can afford the team the whole season. If you can get a home field playoff game you get lots of money to help build the stadium. However, what Level 40 player will sign on a team with no stadium knowing they can't afford you?

So in USA BBB there's no real way a team can grow to be competitive in two years time and that's when as a owner you'd have to decide to keep going with zero to show for it.

Any team that's been around for a while can easily afford anything and everything they want for their players. Not to mention I could gut my team right now and sign all Level 1 players. Asked to be regulated back to BBB and turn around and sign all Level 40 players that no one else can afford. This seems to be the latest craze going around.

Hopefully next season will be yours to get a couple home playoff games and that'll take care of a lot!

The Breakers went from missing the playoffs last season to the #1 seed as of now.

Redridge Murlocs was a gutted team with barely a stadium seat standing 3 seasons ago. It hasn't been easy and takes alot of time and effort to get going. Still not easy as I feel I am always trying to play catch up.

Bombers were in the same boat.. gutted team with 1 mil in money from the start in season 4... Now or stadium is a priority we have to add 3 new sections this offseason to maintain what we have or money will become an issue shortly.

I'm still waiting.

If you are honestly saying Flathead was gutted in the Pro's then you are very wrong.
Team lost 4 (maybe 5) players total throughout the season.

Well. I don't know what "Team in the Pros" refers to.
Maybe there's some misunderstanding on my part.

I do know that when I finally got a team, it was Season 4
in the BBB5 West.
And Flathead Just Go Krazy was gutted. I'm pretty sure going 0-16 that season.

Then I woke up one morning and *poof* the entire team was magically
chock full of LV 36, 38, 40 guys.

It spoke to the fact that owners with mega stadiums and income can
actually gut the team, and have the cash to do that.

Others can't.

Oh talking about 2 differents teams but here is the deal.

I came in with it already being gutted in Season 4 I believe.

There were like 10 total players with tons of CPU and we had like -2Mil as well so i decided to just release or trade the 10 players that were not CPU and then get all level 4 players (some where mine but they were all retired) others I got from friends. This way I could help low level players level up fast and also earn back some money for my stadium.

As I was doing that I didn't really need to touch the o-Al or D-Al that whole season and decided to just start recruiting. At that point I got a bunch of players that were willing to sign up (one of those being Florida_boi but he backed out a week after or so).

Anyway that is the whole story.

Did the team remain active (not abandoned or CPU) and simply somehow change ownership?
Is that how you got a stadium like the Krazy House?
