has there been talk of a Pro Tourney, I know there are some very good teams in AAA as well....

Everyone ponies up some flex and Bort gives some sort of big award in flex or major trophy or something....

would be great to liven up the rivalries

OPL vs. SEAPL is going on right now, I think they are going around challenging all the other PL's. I didn't realize OPL is that highly rated they are one of the newer ones.

OPL have always been around, however in the past few seasons, they have emerged as a proper pro league as more and more people look the play in pro leagues.

SeaPL wins the 17 on 17 tourney against OPL, with 9 wins and some late games that wont matter, for those that are curious.

great job Paris, so Joe, how would you rank the Pro Leagues? I have limited knowledge of them, had a fw players in Oceania at one time but most of my guys are in the sub leagues.

WEPL has still got the Most 'Good teams' of all the Pro league, and has the most 'Parity' between teams in the league.

However, I dont think even the best WEPL team could beat the best teams from these other Pro leagues.

OPL = Mean Machine, (West Scranton, Tonga, Banzai)
SAPL = Santiago Benitos, (Krazy Monkeys)
CPL = Yetis,
USPL = HHW, Monkeys, (About 10 other teams that have big level advantage and Run Off Tackle every play, and have Sack monster DEs instead of a defense.)

SEAPL has a few teams that look good like LSP, Seamen, but they are about the level of this league.

EEPL is poor all round with one or two teams look good but struggle out of their League.

APL is a good league but not competitive with other Pro Leagues.

Course that just my opinion, but I have played the best teams from every league with Yetis and I know WEPL inside out, so its probably not too far off.

I wouldn't put Krazy Monkeys up there, we have beaten them the past 2 seasons and last year by like 30 points.

And while I agree with some of that Mike. Most of WEPL Alpha wouldn't compete in many other leagues. Zeta is as competitive as any other league, but there isn't a GREAT team that you could put up against any of the teams you listed and expect to win more than 3-4/10 times.

There is a reason Krazy Monkeys are in (Brackets)

Oh and you over stating the difference between Alpha and Zeta again

Quite a lot this time though.

I do think that Ballers, PPP and Meatballs are the Elite in WEPL right now though.

But both Conferences have 5 teams each that can be competitive in any Pro League.
Not win, but go anything from 9-7 to 14-2 depending on the league/conference.

But #6-9 in Alpha would not be too far off that, and I dont think I could say the same about Zeta.

I would say Zeta has more teams able to WIN any other Pro League, but top to bottom, Alpha has more teams that would get a winning record.

(Funnily enough, Pre Season I would have said that Zeta was much stronger, as I expected much more from Antwerp, Scoregasms and BFM.)

Quite honestly I think that if Antwerp, Scoregasms and BFM were in Alpha they would be fighting for playoff spots.

*Turns thread into Alpha verse Zeta*

I would go as far to say that Zeta's top six are equal to Alpha's top three.
Black Watch, Paris and London Monarchs are all threats for the WEPL Championship, while Roughnecks, Pimps, Longnecks, Meatballs, Ballers and Destroyers could win the championship as well. Sure, Wujax are good, but they aren't as good as they use to be and are slowly deteriorating. Minotaurs still lose the odd easy game and Stuttgart is too inconsistent. Dinas is unpredictible, Wembley, Berlin and FTA are more and more looking like has beens.

Looking deeper into this, it would probably be easier, lead to more discussion and help me support myself more if I did a power ranking to show how I rank the teams.
Or a proper tier list, just allocate a points for each team, on the basis Yeti's are ten stars, Carthage is half a star.
However, I am too lazy to at the moment. Looking into it, the middle teams are all probably equal with eachother in Alpha and make them look better then they actually are.
Remember 11-5? Eleven Zeta wins, 5 Alpha Wins (Including a Bot Bashing)
Wouldn't mind making a true Alpha verse Zeta tournament.

Is that the playoffs? Best of Alpha plays best of Zeta....Alpha has won 2 years straight I believe?

Regrettably, three years in a row :S
That's really just one representative against another, doesn't show what is the strongest league.

I know we have seriously underachieved this season, but Multiple beat us by 3 points, and BFM just got buried by Ufa Panthers who we beat just a day later. How you translate that into possible playoffs spots in Alpha for those teams somehow escapes me.

Yea bro, but that doesn't mean anything....

We test shit out during scrimmages.... we know this season is over, we are using the rest of this season to prepare for next season
