That's the problem with us "old foggies", we didn't focus on everything early enough. I'm in the same boat as you but with kicking at the 8:1 cap and confidence at the 5:1. There really isn't much we can do now to get them higher.

I can guarantee you that when my new kickers hit their mid 30's they will be over 100 in both kicking and confidence!

If there's a silver lining to it, my guy has never missed a field goal inside 40 yds, ever, he has 2 misses from 40-49 over the last 3 seasons, and he is a touchback machine. Isn't it bizarre how I still feel like a failure? Well, I do, when I see other kickers missing from all distances but also making 60+s lol.

With a 40 yd average you must also kick 20 yarders.

my level 17 punter is just as good as your level 18 Octowned and thers is no big secret. my punt average is low because the team I am on actually makes across the 50 more often than yours does.

my punter has already kicked a 60+ yard punt this season, has yours?

My level 17 (now 18 after last game) has kicked 60+ before and he doesn't even have all his gear upgraded yet. He has a decent amount of strength but I think the 4:1 capped punting has done a lot more then the strength ever could.

I think that most of the kickers in GLB are similar to sabastian janikowski

they make all sorts of long FGs but miss easy ones

that would be an awesome accomplishment. personally i dont think its possible but you never know.

my current kicker is at 87 with out equipment in kicking and about 50 in confidence. i worked basically all on kicking. im at level 21. i trained kicking and strength till i could cap kicking then worked on vision and confidence while still putting as many points as possible into kicking till i hit like 5 to 1. finally start to put a few into confidence as well as SA. one of my early builds so if you train well and count equipment it may be done. if so my team should be in hopefully a league by then and you have a spot if you like. either way keep me posted on the build

Strength seems to be absolutely worthless. After getting kicking to second soft-cap, I started putting points into strength before vision and confidence. My kickoffs actually went DOWN by a few yards.

Do not waste your time with strength - at least until you get kicking and vision and confidence all the way up, and even then it might not be that important.

Yeah, my max distance is 63 yards.

I have 7 touchbacks in 122 punts.

My average is low from punting deep and getting the coffin corners. My punter with low vision seems to like to pin at the 15 rather than the 5! So yes, I do end up with 25 yarders when I pin them. But rarely because of touchbacks.
