Yes.

The big idea for most DEs and pass rushing DTs right now is to get a piece of AE with +1 Blitz on it and upgrade it to get +5 or +6 eventually, essentially giving you another Tunnel Vision-type bonus to activate.

Got a piece of advanced equipment for my DE with +1 Closing Speed and Break block chance +3%. My question is, would the Closing Speed SA increase my pass rushing ability? Could it possibly be equivalent to Tunnel Vision?

I'm not 100% on this, so don't hold me to it, but I think Closing Speed activates when you're trying to catch up to a player rather than trying to just plain catch the QB.

Yea, I think that's the one distinction that throws me off. I'm thinking I should pass on it just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, it's better to go with the sure thing in Tunnel Vision or Blitz.
