Not the point at all, I am the same level as the starter on the USA team as we speak, and I was promised a starting spot on that team... I didnt sign up to be a player on a scrub team... also, if you are inferring that I am new to the game you are mistaken.

No I did my research before posting.... I saw you were familiar with the game. and Yes, NOW you are the same lvl, but at that point last season were you? I don't know.

I don't plan on making an issue of this. Play or not, the games go on......

who cares its like its like if a team drafts a player in the nba and then sends him down to the D league

you signed a contract to the owner so it dosnt matter you they can send you down so you can earn a spot on the real team

Nicely put!

Now so far this season: Thunder Crash has had 108 plays from the first 3 games, and he's crying about not playing? Go take a leap kid.

He signed the contract and now threatens to sandbag our team for not releasing him. I fully support Sooneer about this, make this muppet rot on the bench for the rest of his contract tbh.

This isn't an example of overpowered ownership destroying the hopes and dreams of players. This is an example of how spoiled the players are. This is nothing more then a player complaining and doesn't or shouldn't even need to be here. Whether the owner did or did not do anything wrong doesn't matter in this case.

If you don't like the situation you are in as a player, find a trade. You signed the contract, you agreed to play for his football team. I understand what you are saying, guaranteed "situational clauses" but those aren't implemented yet. So all you got when you signed the contract, and you knew this when you did it, was a guarantee that you would be on his roster. Anything beyond that was your decision.

I know what you'll say "So what... I can't believe owners now?" but why do you make it seem like someone lying to someone else (if that even happened) is a new thing? People lie to each other all the time. If you don't like your situation, the only thing you can do is try to find a trade or wait until next season. You signed the contract.

Rotting on the bench is exactly what i want, unforunately that weak ass level 4 you have playing wont be able to take all the snaps, so I still need to plan it so that I am as ineffective as possible when i do have to take the field....

You just guaranteed that I will never sign any of your players. I want team players and you are not it. There are only so many starting spots and back-ups in this league still get plenty of snaps. But I dont want whiners as back-ups.

I don't get your reasoning, did you read what the owner did to him... do you expect players to do that if you don't lie?

First mistake was signing with a typical cheating gooner. I hate anything with Sooner in the title, they're all just trailer park bandwagon fans anyway.

"Trailer park bandwagon fans" WOW, you must be from a team that gets ran over by the Sooners every year.

O, wait I just checked your profile. You are from the team that we run over every year. OUr orange haired Oklahoma step child. No wonder you hate everything sooner. And if you are looking for trailer park fans then I would defintely tell you to look in the mirror. I wouldn't call you a bandwagon fan, becuase well, you never win enough for anyone to jump on your bandwagon. If someone is a puke fan, then they have to be loyal to losing.

Way to represent the losing side of the most lopsided instate football rivalry in the nation.

So if I sign a level 4 QB and I later sign a level 8 QB I should start the level 4 because he threaten to sandbag himself. Sorry, I start the best players on my team if the level 4 develops more than I might start him. But if he going to whine about not getting enough play time I will make sure he does not.

I am not going to stop looking for players once I fill a spot I need. I will look for the best player and I will be loyal to my back-ups if they play their role and do everything they can to imporove their players.

I am tired of these level 4 and level 1 demanding start time. Maybe he should not have said he was going to start him, but there is no reason why he should not start what he feels is the better player for his teams.

Hah thats awesome... perfect!

Also, Steeleye, I wont be asking to sign with you anytime soon with that attitude. When I sign a player, and I guarantee him a starting role, he stays in the role, and I dont recruit anyone to replace him. I dont mind losing a couple seasons to keep my players happy, and nobody has left my teams yet... Thats how an owner should be, and thats how success is built... Contrary to what sooneer is telling you, I signed with him during a time of chaos, when level 4's were getting insane salaries, I was a lvl 7 and I wanted the minimum salary, for the benefit of the team.... I even accepted the job with the scrub team and still remained a team player. All i wanted was a release which was a condition we had agreed to during the scrub team negotiation. I was willing to pay him far more than he had invested in my player, just because I didnt think a release was fair to him. He apparently doesnt honor any deal he makes with anyone unless he is stripping their team of their cash and their players.
