Well the never ending search for First Step has found me a piece that gives +1 to Quick Cut. Would that be better than Get Low??

I got superior orange cleats that gave me +2 Str and +1 First Step. I have it upgraded to +4 Str and +2 First step. I did the "what's your 40 time"

and it went from a 4.62 w/o the +2 First step to 4.54 with it. Don't know how much stock to put into these combine thingys. But if it's accurate, it's a good thing to have.

It would be to me--"Agility" (what "First Step" is based off of) is very important to a FB.

Well here we are again and I still havent found First Step. I think those of you who said you got it for your FB are just lying. LOL

I found a +1 Strength +1 Spot Blitz. You don't want to know about the crap I found before that, unless you think Monster Hit would be good for a Full Back. LOL

I have it! I'm still 2 slow, my hb has 69 speed. I have a long ways 2 go!

Now I just found a +1 to Pancake. It has seemed to have fallen out of favor with the O-Linemen but is it good for FBs who have to block LBs and Safeties and sometimes CBs?

It's pretty good IMO, got it on one of my FBs. Certainly good enough to use while waiting for that elusive First Step piece. Remember you get the bonus tokens back when you sell the item, so can use them to upgrade the First Step item.

The good thing about Pancake is that since it's the last skill in the tree, getting it on a AE piece is worth more SPs.

Pancake is definitely not worth the cost and personally wouldn't have it as AEQ. My guy gets plenty of pancakes with out it and is an overrated skill anyway, IMO.

I rolled a first step today...no attributes, though.

I gave up the quest for the First Step piece today. Got a Superior Pink Shirt with +2 Carrying, and +1 Power Thru SA. I couldn't pass that one up.

Whats the word on "Shock Block" with a lead-blocking FB?

(I touched the ball 13 times total last season, I block and that is it for a elusive HB set)

I also got that +2 carrying and +1 power thru.... way too tough to pass up

How often do you pass block? From what I've read, shock block is almost exclusively on passing downs. However, it has guards who love it. A lot.

I'm back, and still no luck with First Step. LOL

Ever since I equipped the Pancake AE I havent noticed much of a difference. I think its time to find something else.
