I've never been accused of being quiet here or IRL. You team is on a hell of a roll and should be a good match-up in a few games. Glad to see you up here in the BIG SHOW.

We might be able to pull out of this vicious cycle of an extremely hard opening schedule and team morale tanking.

I don't understand how we lose nobody over the offseason and manage to rack up more losses in the first 6 games of the season as we had all last season.

I miss the Bandicoots A LOT. Those guys were rough and if Mich did ANY scouting or game planning other than steal the Fire's basic tactics back then they could have done so much more. Those builds were crazy sick and although he let some of the builds drop a tad he is still an amazing builder. I have no doubt they would be in OPL if we had been able to keep them on track and continue to boost them. Too bad RL got in the way of that.

I hope the history you have with Mich isnt bad history

Yeah, I really can't figure it either. Past history suggests RRY is much better than what the record indicates.

Only thing that is "bad" is that his team stood in the way of us getting to AAA year one.

No bad history with MichN18, and yes, that team had really good builds. I see some of those guys are on your roster now.

Yes some of those guys are on the roster now. They were better builds than his players who were on the Fire. no reason to keep the older less well built players.

I am glad its not bad history. I vaguely remember a decent amount of hate for Mich and his 1 man team. Not saying that was from you guys but I know from Oceanic AA3 in general.

In general most people are jealous of one man teams. I don't think any less of a one man team.

In terms of winning I am jealous that I could not justify placing that kind of money into this game. I have a big hand in the builds of the Fire but I do not have complete control over everything. I really respect teams like HHW and others that have been able to invest the money AND continue to build good builds. It is not just about being owned by a single player. You still need good builds and tactics.

A lot of people hate in this game when they shouldnt.

I'm going to disagree with that one. MEM hates 1 man teams, and we've won more then almost all of them. We just don't like them because we hate the idea of 1 to 2 people running an entire football team. To us it defeats the fun and purpose of running a team in GLB. I find it much more rewarding to get 40 agents on one team that actively participate in the forums and with everything associated with GLB. We hate it when 1 person conjures up the money to run his entire team. For one it can be a bit unfair in that he can get every single player on the team with the exact tactics he wants. It must also be boring as shit on the team forum.

That is fine and I respect that you disagree. And I am sure you do the same to us. The forums may be boring but there are many other forums and private forums for that. And if you have 40 active agents (or however many active ones) you should be able to have them all on the same page with builds and tactics. The Fire forum is not the best out there as we dont talk a lot of OT stuff. Doesnt bother us.

I think it is important to know what is important to people. To some its the interaction, some it is the winning, and to some its a combination of both. One thing that makes this game good is that its a place for all those kind of people.
