Actually, record is one of the statistics factored into the rankings, and I disagree about your stance. If I did what you wanted to do, then we wouldn't have a ranking, we'd just have the league standings, which is already available to you by clicking the "USA BBB #6" link by your player/team name.
It is possible that a team with a lesser record could be better than a team with a higher record, and it could keep happening as the season goes on.
Let's not forget that there are only two games of data to go on. More games need to be played for these to get better.7] Chocolate City Cha Chings (1-1), 2.1
8] Georgia Storm (2-0), 1.9
9] Cleveland Gladiators (2-0), 1.8
I think the biggest argument my teammates are making is that you have a 1-1 team above a 2-0 team. It wouldn't be so bad, but we're the reason why your #7 team isn't 2-0 right now.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=21888As the game neared it's end, our defense really closed the door on them and we went into power running mode. We won the TOP portion of the game. How are they better than us at this time?
Did their 31-0 beating of a CPU team really mean more than our 17-0 victory over a team much more comparable to our level (and in some cases, they actually held an edge in personnel matchups.)
Even in our head to head matchup, we're a better team on paper. Look it up.
That's the issue with these rankings. It'd be one thing if this was W10 and our records were close. Maybe they've done some boosting to push them over the top. But two weeks in, that loss to us should have a stronger bearing on things. Not some their blowout win over a mostly CPU team.
