My L31 Strength Based NT has 2 Tackles and 3 Hurries
My L30 Balanced/Higher Agility based DT has 16 Tackles, 10 Hurries and 5 Sacks

They play side by side when I run a 4 man front.

Depends if you want the glory and the stats.

The NT seems to do ok in the 3-4 in taking on a couple players so someone else can make the play and he doesn't get moved off the line as easily especially considering he cops more double teams. To us they are both valuable, but for totally different reasons.

Yep for the most part, very well built NTs will not get many stats. But put a bad NT on your defense and watch how badly offenses pwn your defense.

I have a guy who had 82 tackles, 10 sacks, 22 TFL last year at DT. This year, same team, same league has 4 tackles and 1 sack while playing NT.

My full time NT seems to be about the same, 2 or 3 tackles per game or so.





I am noticing the exact same thing. My DT had good stats like yours last year and now I have 5 f'n tackles on the season.
Tons of hurries which I notice come just from pushing up the line a yard or two; despite the QB never really being in any trouble cuz of me.

I'm getting hurries and TFLs but not getting much in the sack department.

Mine is the exact same way. Last year I was so dominant that I was actually voted team MVP. This year I'm averaging less than 2 tackles a game and have barely breathed on a QB let alone hit him.

I get a ridiculous amount of hurries, but am having trouble turning them into sacks.

my DT has been getting snaps at NT and just got a ton of hurries. I am not going to worry if I'm getting sacks as long as I'm getting hurries on every pass play.

DT's job is to collapse the pocket...let the ends get the sacks.

My ends have taken sacks from me. Im sitting on 1 sack and 1 safety (which should count as a sack as well).

My guy is doing fine for the most part. Just not off to the start he had last season.

speaking of the NT position, how is this build for a NT. His stats, what stats? I just wonder if I am going the right direction, or should move the equip?

Looks pretty good. Next focus should be to get strength and agility to 68 natural and keep working D-line general.

My DT had a good game finally.

My NT...well hes getting paid to clog the hole, not for stats.
