they were rivals of my other team last season. they sure talked a LOT of shit. Plus they are a product of downward collusion. the team that won the championship in season 4 disbanded because they didnt want to move up, they wanted to stay in the same league, so all their players joined the other EEORG team (which was already very good), to create an instant powerhouse.

ahh yeah, they pretty much did the same thing last year in Africa AA as some of the guys from that team ended up down there. Our slowbuild team smoked that team though too, so they challenged the Pimps....yeah that didn't work out well for them. I guess they wanted a rematch this year.

Don't I know it ... But it still gives you an indication of how much of a head start the Yetis have/had.

Yep, Yetis only just beat them 7-0.

I might have spent too much time on the defense and none on the offense for that game but still, hell of a team.

And while the Yetis DID beat the Benitos 7-0, I think the Benitos are still a MUCH better team than the Yetis are. Every powerhouse team has a fluke loss somewhere. The Benitos have MUCH less of them though.

The Benitos are the best team in GLB. Hands down.

Please, please dont take this the wrong way, Benitos are one of the very very few teams on Yetis level and are easily one of the top 3 teams in GLB full stop.

But this game : http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=196651
was not a fluke.

Like I said I only gameplanned for about an hour, and the focus was to shut down their Offense.
Our Offense was the same as it ever is, hasnt changed since season 4 really.

The results speak for themselves.

Their run game was held to 2.2 yards per carry.

Yetis got 10 Sacks and 11 Hurries in 31 pass plays = 67% effectiveness.

We had 2 INTs and 8 PDs in the 21 pass plays were the QB was not sacked = 47.6% effectiveness.

We had ZERO missed Tackles on Defense all game. (1 by a WR).

None of those support the point of view that it was a fluke.

On Offense I expected a great team like Benitos to shut us down, but I trusted that our builds would win out, and changed nothing.

That was our 'A' game and we dont generally have a plan 'B'. (CPL doesnt need one.)

Yetis have lost some scrimmage games, but thats generally because I had no idea we were playing those teams, as the owner has an open challenge out there and we end up playing a game or two every day.

Regular season in CPL we lose, but we dont start playing until the Play offs start.

I still put Yetis, Benitos, and another 4 or 5 teams as tied at the top of GLB, where if they played each other it would be down to tactics.

But anyone else, well tactics dont come into it, the quality of build and depth of those teams make tactics irrelevant for the most part.

I could argue that since you had ZERO missed tackles that the game was a fluke...that just doesn't happen that often

ok, i eat my words.i haven't looked at the yetis yet this yr just assumed with the de changes prevent those des from being freaks, but now that i looked at them it looks as though they are doing even better this season.i figured if they'd be hurt by the changes then that would make the yetis overall a little worse of course.

nvm, it seems that this year he has went to a rushing attack. He used to beat up on me in BBB with passing.

Have you seen Yetis schedules???

At least one game a day, usually 2, I dont know what friendlies are eing scheduled from one day to the next and the games are constantly being rearranged.

Its only me setting tactics, and I am doing it for 8 teams full time and helping another 10-15 on any given day.

I cant change tactics for friendlies.

Truth be told Yetis are using exactly the same tactics as start of play offs season 5 because I havent gotten around to them yet.

Monarchs are not even 50% updated yet either.

Anyone who want to lend a hand with either my CPL or USPro teams, let me know huh?
