Or at least no good ones anyway.
Maybe the idea is just new to you and Big Cali.

I've spoken to a few people including flames and I'm 99.9% sure this idea has yet to be tapped.

Haters are gonna hate and try to keep you from shining. You just gotta brush em off and keep ridin'. Holla. =P

What exactly makes people flame when they have no idea what the concept behind the team is?

I believe this is a scam.

I may not have figured out what the scam is, but red flags are going up everywhere.

I sent him a PM to see what the deal was and why his initial post keeps changing.
He replied only to say that he could not go into specifics unless I gave him an AIM account.
I guess his concept is too complex for the PM system in GLB. What's up with that?

Is this a program that can be easily hacked? Just my guess.

Like I've said before, I'm 99.99% sure that the thousands of smart people who play this game have explored every possibility with slow building and that he has come up with nothing new.
I forget who said this feels like a bad infomercial, but basically these are the kind of empty promises you get when you watch them.

Because without revealing the concept you leave people open to think all sorts of things. Lots of people make lots of off the wall claims in this game, most of which are complete and utter BS. Of course if it's truly revolutionary and you do reveal it you're giving away your advantage. Tough call isn't it?

But don't expect people to simply believe you with no evidence either. If you truly are on to something you'll only have about a season to do it before it gets disseminated to the rest of GLB and you no longer have your advantage. In fact simply giving away the information to anyone who's available on chat could kill your advantage anyway.

As an aside requiring some stupid IM program will limit the pool of potential agents.

Why would anyone build a player to someone elses specification? This is just asking people to pay flex points to create the players you can't afford to build.

Surely the the fun part of this game is building your own player how you see fit.

Theres ALWAYS a new way of doing things. always.

If you have a new way of doing things, I will commit a player. just shoot me a position.

The guides are straight foward and barely need to be written once you understand the concept behind the training. Its really all common sense but guides will be there for those who need them. What makes this idea unique isn't some super secret information, its information that has been overlooked.

The concept behind the training is interesting ...

It is widely acknowledged on GLB that you train the attributes up to 30-35 or so, then add SP up to 48. Between 48 and 52 is trainable, and so on ...

A further concept is to have attributes trained to 90-99% before you hit a cap in them, so a small amount of further training will gain you the +1 in the attribute after you have hit the cap (or in some cases you could spend SP past several caps with the attribute 99% trained). This is reasonably common knowledge, and only increases each attribute by a 1-2 points maximum over the lifetime of the player, so I would hope that the OP has something else up his sleeve as many people are already doing this ...

They have to be training on intense to get the bonus tokens, unless I am overlooking something here.

If you need a lot of agents, it has been pointed out on here before that you will be trying to save your guys points in stamina, but again this is no biggie.

I assume that if you want them all to start on the team next season, you will not be super slow building them.

So based on this, I feel that you guys have decided to finally train attributes up to 90-99% and leave them there whilst boosting the attributes, to take advantage of training them to completion at a later time in the player's career. That, coupled with leaving stamina low, coupled with a whole team designed to offer a variety of offensive and defensive options, could get you somewhere.

and the answer is.......

d) All of the above

That sounds about right, mandyross.

You should start your own team and demand that people sign up for Yahoo messenger.

Yeah, I don't buy this either. I've considered many many many many ways of slow building, and I doubt he has one that NO ONE else has thought of. If you would like to AIM me with the concept Chris, go right ahead, and if you are right, and it's a concept I've never considered, I will build a player for your team, whatever player you want, and I will sign on for 4-5 seasons.

If it's a concept that I've considered or I'm practicing, then I get to tell your secret out on the open boards.

Deal?

PS GSUFan513 is my AIM name.

Oops. Got him confused with Painmaker.

Painmaker is the genius.

I've got a much better idea. How about.. We will carry out our plan, follow our strategy, and watch the wins pile up in 3-4 seasons. You can have a look at the team then, and try and tell me we didn't do something a little bit different.
