definitely on the right track with the 60 in the big three. next is capping jumping. then go from there by personal preference.

The next step might be 3rd capping those big three , not sure yet . There's a little time to think about that . Also depends when/if we're getting off the farm team and we need to use SAs .

And I know the fact that strength is important for stopping the outside runs , but does it help when in pass coverage ? just wondering .

Yes it helps in pass coverage.

Let me rephrase then . How does strength help in pass coverage ?

yeah strength helps in pass coverage, the CB can cause fumbles on WR that have low carrying

But if the WR never gets the ball ?

I have a WR and alltime I have like none broken tackles on CBs when my guy catches the ball in tight coverage . So if I make sure my CB will stick to him as glue , what am I gonna need strength for ?

With the big 3 2nd capped and jumping next in line to be first capped, what should I be looking at SA-wise? I'm thinking 4 first step, 4 change direction, and then focus in the shutdown tree (Super Vision, Shutdown Coverage) since my CE is there?

i've caused one fumble lol
how about if you intercept the ball, you can break the wr's tackle

I know what you mean , but if we look at it that way I would also need more tackling since it could cause more fumbles as well as reducing missed tackles . I could also use catching since it would increase my chances of a INT .

But the point is to neglect these and try and be superior in the other attributes

With SAs I agree with FS and CD to make sure you're fast enough . Other than that I'm just annoyed sticky hands got placed between swat ball and super vision Would've been nice not to put points in that . How about shutdown coverage is that any good or is it just too expensive to invest in ?

yeah for SA's concetrate on supervision and eventually put some points into shutdown. i have 7 supervision which by some people isnt that high but my cb still gets a good jump on the play. also get first step and change direction to about 3 or 4 and nothing in the rest of speedster

shutdown coverage is good when you're playing man to man defense. if your cb drops back into zone, blitzes, or plays against a run, then it won't kick in. idk how good it is. I wish the value was quantified.

i think your corner would be more versatile if you put more points into speed and agility.

well you don't know everything if you don't know what str. does for pass coverage, then do you?

Nah , just kiddin' . But you still haven't told me how it helps ?

I can think of when jumping for the ball you're gonna need strength to push the WR off or something , but not sure that's how it works in GLB as well ?

People claim that a higher strength can be helpful in getting interceptions, that it will be easier for the cornerback to "wrestle" the ball off the hands of the widereceiver.

But again, with a higher vision/jumping, your cornerback will be better in positions to get a jump on the pass and intercept it before the receiver gets it.

People also claim that a higher strength can be useful to bump a receiver at the snap to get them out of route.

The highest strength I have on any of my CB is in the 30ish, so I can't tell if it improves much more at higher strength.
