Im going to trust your rankings as much as I trust the BCS Rankings.

Explain how you should be higher. You beat a gutted team and barely skated by Chicago (a good team no doubt but hardly a convincing win).

5th is about right.

This isn't about DDL hate, I like your team and TSE a great deal. It's just reality.

We definitely skated by Chicago. That was an ugly game for us on both sides of the ball. The #4/5 spot is about right for us at this point.

I don't think either one of our teams deserved a win today, but we'll take it.

Rage and Pushovers should both likely be two slots higher. Other than that I really don't see any problems with these rankings. Nice job 12th.

Thanks. I really like the Rage from looking at the tapes and as I noted in the comments, I think they'll make it up higher soon. I'm not as sure about the Pushovers but I'm sure it's all going to work itself out soon anyway.

Actually, I did bump them up to fourth after reviewing the tapes in more detail, but that's only because I think the Sin should have kept the Outkasts off the board more than they did - it's not so much about my faith in DDL.

Quite honestly I'm just trying to be fair here.

It was more of a joke. Only in the BSC ranking can a team jump another team that won. TexTech jumped Penn St.

Yeah, unfortunately for my Lions Iowa proved there might have been a reason for that.

I think the BCS is full of shit and there needs to be a play off system.

Totally agree, but unfortunately I can't ever see it happening.

Obama will pass a law making it so all college sport programs must have a playoff system.

Thanks for the rankings. I know we're looking forward to our games around Turkey Day against Boston (team to beat in the East) & Green Bay (our old rivals dating back to AA4). This is the most interested I've been in GLB since S1!

I used to think a playoff system would be better also, but imagine what the championship game would be like after the top 16 or so teams duked it out. That would be a brutal stretch of games no matter how deep a team went. The NCG would be a watered down version of the type of game we saw between two evenly matched teams in 2005 that created such a memorable final play (I'm a Texas fan obviously). Fatigue and injuries would cause just as much disparity as the BCS does. Look at what happened to Texas as their brutal 4-game stretch (OU, Mizzou, OSU, TT) progressed. We started losing more players to injury and our overall performance kept regressing each game as the stretch progressed. That's exactly what would happen in a playoff system.

Some coaches who long opposed the BCS system are now starting to change their opinion because they see the media attention it demands. All of the tiebreaker and strength of schedule talk is creating a ton of buzz this season.

The old (and overused) addage, "You can't please all the people all of the time", definitely applies in this case.

Wow, Shockers are pretty good. I don't feel too bad now, especially how they shredded my rush D. I had thought we'd let that game get away from us.

Yeah, I'm thoroughly impressed by them. They're close to being a complete team.

Thanks - luckily for us we had tough preseason games which allowed us to make some needed changes for the regular season.

12th-I need to say one thing. You do a better job of this than anyone I have seen.

The highlights are a great touch.
