The math is that it adds to your % chance to do something using your base %chance as 100%, not as a straight +%.

So, even with a piece of AE that gives +15% chance to force a fumble, and say your base FF chance is 10%, the AE doesn't make your FF chance 25% (10+15), it makes it 11,5% (115% of 10%).

I rolled +3 agi/+2% fake chance around level 34 on my elusive back and went with it. Only halfway to the next upgrade, but +5 agility/+6% fake isn't bad at all.

Whether it adds a percent of the base to the base or is a straight percentage, you'll hopefully agree that a higher chance to force the fumble (or breaking a tackle) with additional stats instead of flat stats is an improvement.

I'd rather have a SA instead of a % thing. Of course some things are too juicy to pass up. Like if I found a +3 Strength +% Break Tackle for my Power Back. I'd probably buy that.

So I just got this roll for my level 36 Elusive Back, not sure if i should jump on it or not.

+3 Vision
+1 Quick Cut SA
$48,000

So with 16 Bonus tokens it will be

+3 Vision
+2 Agility
+2 Quick Cut

This piece would be replacing a +5 Agility Piece I have now. Im not sure what the 3rd upgrade with bonus tokens will give me. +3 Agility only our will add a +3 Quick cut as well.

Think it is worth it?

I look at AE being a good way for high-level players to save SP on SA's. Those last 4 levels for the SA's are 4,4,5,5, so if you have a +3 SA piece it can save you 14 sp PLUS whatever you'd have to put into the attribute in front of it to take it to 10.

Well I haven't "Gone Shopping" in awhile due to the fact I was getting crap, but your +3 Vision & QC had me hoping.

So I trained normal and went shopping.

Scored a +1 Agilty with +1 Quick Cut for 12,000.

Not bad, as it has UPGRADE Potential!!

OK, so if I upgrade TWICE (16 Tokens) will my +1 Agilty with +1 Quick Cut go to this???

First Upgrade (8 Tokens): +2 Agility +1 QC
Second Upgrade (8 Tokens): +3 Agility +2 QC

Yeah, and don't forget, when you get higher levels you can go shopping again, get access to the level 40-ish AE and sell your old AE back for half the money and ALL the tokens.

True, it does increase your chance to do something, but would you rather have a piece of AE that gives you a new +1.5% chance to break a tackle, or would you rather have a piece of AE that gives you +3 to Juke/Spin/Power Through/etc,,,

I'll take the +SA any day, now... if you could find a piece of AE that gave you +% break tackle chance AND +SA, that would be something.

A.E. is so stupid. The high level players are 4-5 seasons in and it will take 4-5 seasons to get one fully upgraded, if you actually found one worth upgrading. It needs some tweaking. It needs some thought. It's pretty stupid for higher level players who have been around. I mean sh*t, By the time I fully upgrade this A.E., I have now it will be time for his stats to start declining. It's gay.

40 days of training. Every 5 days you can train twice, making 2 BTs. 40/5=8x2= 16 BTs per season, thats two upgrades. "Upgraded fully" I'll take to mean the level 40 upgrades, since no on is 48 yet. That's 5 upgrades. 5 upgrades at 2 per season takes 2.5 seasons. Not 4 or 5.

In short? You're wrong.
