That is why you set up every Running play to run HB #2. In this you will not be using HB#1 or HB #2. You will have to be a run heavy team. When you want to pass just set up a Pass Med play with HB#2(The Guy playing QB) Set as the runner. Then you QB comes in. If the QB is tired then the backup QB comes in.

Lets just agree that it would be really hard to do. If you could do it.

1.) can't delete the title
2.) everyone has thought of this but there are 2 problems:

First of all, a RB kinda sucks at QB run because of the out of position penalty
Second, there no way to get the QB in there on passing plays.

thus, I hope everyone tries the Wildcat offense vs me.

QB spot trumps HB2 if that was your idea.

Someone please point me to wildcat plays in the playbook. Either I'm blind or you guys have no idea what a wildcat offense is.

Edit- unless you guys are talking about putting a HB in for the QB and just running a bunch of QB scrambles. That would be ridiculously stupid.

people were trying to figure out how to get the HB at QB on QB scrambles and QB back to QB on passing plays. Its been tried already. Putting the HB as starting QB, regular QB as backup. On QB run plays just leave the HB, but on passing plays have the HB as the #1 or #2 and call for him to be the HB. This in theory should work but Bort went the extra mile to make sure it wouldnt. Now we are stuck with the standard stuff.

That's not the wildcat anyway, it's just a direct snap to the RB. The wildcat is a specific, separate formation.

Well, it would be nice to have 2 QB slots- one for pocket passers and one for scamblers.

Only if they gave defenses the ability to change coverages based on who is the QB (not based on slots, as the offense could hide it until right before the game sims)

Do you care to test it out in a scrimmage vs us?

You are correct. Someone just heard it on TV and doesn't exactly know what it means.
