It may be overkill, but it's certainly not going to hurt them. Either way, that's some scary depth.

Great job as always, Bazooka!

Just to play Devil's advocate.

Who's to say that rotation isn't preventing the players from aquiring some really sick morale/confidence boosters during the game?

On the flip side, if the CB's get burnt a few times and come out they will have substantially lower confidence when they do come in.

I guess I found that someone assuming the difference between my tactics and his depth being 97/80 came off as arrogant and ignorant.

Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence in South Austin. I can only hope we live up to that confidence. The way our schedule looks, I think we're going to be happy with 8-8...

There is a misunderstanding here. I was not meaning to imply that the Hustlers have poor tactics or shoddy builds, what I was trying to say is that the insane depth of the Hot Mamas will give them an energy advantage of roughly 80 to 97 over anybody with the standard size depth chart.

A 50 stamina and confidence does not make your stamina or confidence bar any larger than someone with 5 stamina. It just means that you regenerate faster. What this means is that unless the Hot Mamas have no confidence or stamina, no matter how you set your tactics the Hot Mamas will have an energy/confidence advantage over you because their players will have a lot more time to rest. Also, missing out on the confidence boost is basically a non-factor because their confidence will almost always be maxed out anyways because confidence will be build up when they are resting.

One man teams don't bust out the big bucks for nothing

The Hustler's have won two straight championships without having one competitive playoff game. I'm sure thats all going to change this year, but I think we'll definitely be in contention with just about anybody.

My guess is when he stated your will be at 80 and his energy would be 97 in the 4th quarter. The reason being that he will have a better rotation of his players...But that can hurt him in the same breath...being that some of his guys will loose snaps, therefore some game experience would be lost.

His depth will hurt him if not this season but in future seasons. For instance with 3 QBs at least one of them if not two will not develop as fast and will be rendered useless because it will take longer to level up...Which will become devastating in a conference with higher level players.

Incredible write-up Zook, I'm very impressed.

That being said I think Ho Chi Minh is the overwhelming favorite this season to not just win Zeta, but the entire thing. The biggest winners of the new substitution rules are all the one-man teams out there because they have the depth to take advantage of it. What about the Hot Mama's depth?

3 QBs
4 HBs
7 WRs
6 DTs
8 DEs
6 CBs

All of these players are fully boosted with custom equipment.

They will be lucky to make the playoffs. The team is boosted TRUE. But did you look at the chemistry? They might make some noise in Season 7. Season 6 is a WRAP... You heard it here first.

We'll see how much chemistry really plays a factor in this game.

It's in black and white or vice versa white and black.

Manila Warlords have a new guy helping with the Defense. That will be much improved. I would suspect a top 6 finish just based on that alone. Good luck this season.

Due to the blowout nature of week 1... i think it was just bad matchups personally... im going to hold off on rankings until after week 2 when Zeta can really cut its teeth against each other

the only game even competitive really was phuket vs. krakatoa ***riiiiiiivalry***

Yeah I also gotta say Zeta> Alpha this year. Alpha has 3 stat padding sessions which is gay cuz thats gonna skew the league leaders ALOT and Im pretty sure we did promotion/relegation for a reason..
Alpha does have the champs in ESL and some great teams in BLPP, Bangkok, Manila but overall top to bottom, Zeta is BY FAR the superior conference. NACJAC, Ho Chi, TBP, Krakatoan, LSP, both HKH teams, Bangkok Tweetys, South Austin, Manila...top to bottom WAAAY more competitive

You may be right. If it wasn't for teams folding right after they made the the relegation. Maybe next season they will get it right. A majority of the teams in Zeta have chemistry issues and I may have to eat my words regarding the Hot Mamas.

Considering all his players are level 37+, there's really not much more development being gained from game experience anymore. All you're leveling is coming from boosting at this point. The 100 xp vs 75 xp difference from our games is not going to make much of a difference, even over the long haul... especially given we're in season 6 and players will start to get fat and lazy after their 10th season. Although, you might be right about the chemistry issue balancing out the stamina issue.
