Absolutely. I just went through FA with my TE, and I received a ton of offers, many without PMs. A few of the PMs I got were hard to read...like a text message from a hyper 13 year old. A few made an impact, including the one from the Phoenix. The initial PM, coupled with forum access, made the difference.

We see regular advertisements for cigarettes, booze and many other products that are not healthy for us. So, I can’t say I was surprised when I saw a commercial promoting high fructose corn syrup this week. The commercial promotes the tastiness of this stuff and directs viewer to their Web site for additional facts: http://www.sweetsurprise.com/

The Web site lays out some facts about various sweeteners including honey, xylitol and others. However, it seems one of their main messages is that, this single ingredient (high-fructose corn cyrup) can’t make you fat. It’s about overall calorie intake. Well true, but I am not sure consumers understand the problem fully (i.e. fructose corn syrup contributes to the obesity problem).
