thats cause our defense is the shit. Top 5 in both run and pass yards given up. Not many passes our given up near him and not many runs get that far to him. Think before you speak numbnuts

A safety having lots of tackles is not necessarily a good thing you know ... Some teams have a good DLine and good LBs and keep their safeties from having to do too much.

Eh, See Donte Whitner from the Bills...guy makes a good amount of tackles before the play gets too far down field...a strong safety should have a lot of tackles.

And dont come charging in to his rescue, if he's gonna call other peoples stats weak, he's gotta be able to justify it by having great stats.

He called them respectable. Is that the same as weak in your dictionary, or is the word too dificult to understand?

In GLB at least, the SS is often the guy covering the TE. If the SS sucks, the tight end will catch the ball often, resulting in a lot of SS tackles.

So in essence...

Bad d-line, linebackers = lots of SS tackles
Bad coverage by SS = lots of SS tackles
