I think the order goes:

1) Conference champions = 1.Monmouth & 2.SF Fire

2) Playoff Wins = 2 playoff wins for 3.Honolulu & 4.Anchorage ...

the 4 teams that lost in round 2 in AAA1 AAA2 west all tie with 1 playoff win, so...

3) Postseason Scrimmage wins = 2 wins for 5.Parma; 0 for the other 3 teams

4) Point differential which should rank 6.Tuscon > 7.Owls > Fresno

Parma got the wins in those post season scrimmage games to outrank the other second round losers in the western conferences




Interesting... it looks like Parma and Tucson did not join USA Pro West last night. It actually looks like Tucson was not renewed and went CPU so they would not have made the leap regardless.

Instead we brought up the Oklahoma City Thunderstorm and Dallas Vaqueros formerly of their respective AAA Eastern conference. I did not realize that it was going to be possible to switch conferences as part of the new promotion process. Welcome folks - should be another competitive year in both conferences

Fairly surprised that the OFG did not make it.

Good luck to PS3 whatever he does. Spartans were a classy org. Since the season 1 run, saints always considered them an upper echelon team and put in alot of gameplan hours against them. Even this last season they missed the playoffs, they put it too us on the "Dot Arena Gridiron". It will be sad to not see them around especially when we wax nostalgic.

Dallas beat us in the 2nd round and was more deserving.

I'm glad we got the call up. Hopefully we are able to fly under the radar and surprise some teams.

Ya, honestly if East teams are getting called up they should have taken the place of the teams left at the bottom of the East. At least two of those can certainly be called uncompetitive from last season.

Well, to an extent I agree with what your saying. I mean if the east team was Better..which I am not saying they were totally..but there were so many variables in the criteria Bort used to determine who gets moved up in a situation like this that it saw the team from the east as.." Better".. However, as you said it is the West..So I think personally in a situation such as that one. if the next team in the west wasnt a bad team. then regardless of criteria they should have been moved up.

Don't bother with that line of thought you are arguing against. They say one method of promotion, created by the admins is less legitimate than another method of promotion, also created by the admins. It's disconnected and should be embarrassing to say, yet they say it anyway. That should tell you enough of how those people think.
