most teams run 2 back, and with the new settings available to insert certain players in certain situations stamina isn't that important. After capping speed you can train agility and stamina together and get both to about 30 easily.

There are a lot of mistakes within this guide.
For a start, your SA's are not correct, as your saying that if you buy custom equipment, that is included in raising your SA"s to a certain level. The is incorrect.
In your balanced build, you state that a speed HB needs Juke. Another example of not being careful with writing this up. A balanced player would also need the number 4 SA in the Power SA's to a certain level.
Confidence has also been underestimated.
Jumping isn't a useless ability for a HB, much like it isn't a useless ability for a DE. Here is an example; I think that if you want to maximize the SA Dive For 4 Yards, you will need jumping. Consider that it is known that for the SA Diving Tackle you need jumping, logic dictates that it would also be required for similar sort of offensive situations. Like the example that I gave above.
I also think that catching has been underestimated in a HB's build. It definitely helps if you have a HB that can catch the ball.
The guide really doesn't say what does lower fumbled balls, as some of the higher statistical HB's in my division(from last season) had reasonably high fumble/fumble lost ratios compared to some others in the league who did well too. I don't think it's as cut and dry as stated in the guide too. What I think is that the straighter you run, the more chance that your going to fumble, as there are now defenders who can spill balls. I also think SA's play a part in lowering fumbles.
It is a good guide for those just starting to build an HB, but not for those who have medium and fairly advanced built HB's. I also think that you need to explain more about the SA's and not just say the generic explanations. Why should we invest in your SA advice? Because they do...what? Give you what type of advantage?
What I'll finish with, is by saying that it is decent for a HB just starting to be built. Otherwise, I'd take some of the advice with a pinch of salt.

You want to be a good elusive/speedy back? Don't listen to everyone who says speed is the most important thing. It's agility. get it up to 80 or even 90. get your speed up to about 70. You will be a great elusive/speedy back.
If you get your speed up to 90 and your agility to 60. you will be half ass elusive but very fast.

And he should believe you when you have almost 90 speed with your 4.4ypc average?
And your random points into power back tree?

what does my build have to do with this? It's obviously not an elusive back is it?

So now I pass the things I have learned on to others so they don't listen to idiots. high Agility is the key to having a good elusive back. speed is only how fast he goes.

SO then I turned him into a combo back because 91 speed sucks. and it sucks.
Right now I wish I didn't listen to people tell me to get speed up as far as possible. so he has 90 speed and I'm like damn I listened to you idiots what can I do to fix it. then they are like add str cap it. Nope didn't help. I have a friend building an all agility build based on my own h'b. failing as a speedy h.b. and he is doing fantastic already. I am absolutely convinced agility is key. I don't care if you don't believe me. I don't care about what your opinion is. The facts are agility makes a good speedy elusive back, and not speed.

16games 160 carries 782.5 yards 48.9ypg 4.9 ypc 10 touchdowns 8 broken tackles.
I just noticed you said 4.4 i don't know where you got that,
regardless he played back up almost all season.
I really don't get what my build has to do with this. I actually think my HB is a failure. If I were to restart a HB i would get agility up to 68 natural then speed to 60 by alternating caps. I would probably get str up to maybe 30 and stop.
Get the vision and stamina up to 40ish, put all equipment in agility and custom in speed.
he would look good by level 24. he would have 66 speed and 80 agility. That's how I would build an elusive HB.

I agree that agility is the key. My HB has high 60's speed and did a lot of damage against good teams with high agility! Agility is the key. While keeping vision about 10 points below speed! Also very important for a elusive. Also I beleive your SA's tree needs to be even. That is the other key IMO because they work hand and hand. Just my two cents!

48 is your first soft cap. Once you hit 48 poitns into an attribute it costs 2 to raise it from that point on. 60 is the next, it costs 3 skill points to raise it by one after that, 64, then 68 etc etc
