Vote for I. 2010(FRE) 28.8 KR avg, 2 TD; 19.4 PR avg, 15td

I voted for him tbh. I'm not a homer.

I do think Powell should be on the list, when I watch our game against them he dominated any WR on him. He only gave up two catches even though one was a td. Other than that it was almost like he was getting a piggy back ride frow our WRs.

RayRay is full of penis envy. Are you serious in knocking Duke Massey for having so many tackles? Did you care to notice that our team was generally way over matched in this league and we played soft coverage trying to keep everything in front of us? Duke played it exactly like we asked him to play and made stops. He also was among the league leaders in INT's. It's laughable that your knocking a level 26 player for making plays against WR's who were consistently higher level players. Can you name a defensive player who meant as much to their team?

Drk, I'd also like to thank you for taking the time to do this.

So you are saying that your defensive scheme was to allow passes to be caught and just tackle them to avoid the big play each time? I am not disparaging your player, I am sure he is a good build for that level. However, your argument that you played how you were asked to play shouldn't justify giving up catches all of the time and being rewarded with a postseason award. Your INT total was impressive, I give you that, but when a CB is consistently thrown at they are going to get INTs. The blind squirrel theory if you will.

Oh, I don't doubt Asafa is an excellent CB. I just only have counting stats to go by, ya know? I know there are some people who have been left off due to that. There are some on my team who have been left off, but I can't be biased just because I have seen all of their plays.

At the end of the day, the nominees are based off one person's view of counting stats. It's the best I've got for the amount of time I can put into it. Next year, I'd like to have a panel of three team owners/GMs assist me in picking the nominees.
