Well go play in a good league with low vision and str. Be sure you get back to us on why all that throwing and no vision and str failed.

Well - from this very thread:

Jenova Cell: Level 31, Throwing = 92.37, QB Rating = 93.7
Dwight Schrutte: Level 28, Throwing = 95.09, QB Rating = 62.9
Max Fire: Level 20, Throwing = 84, QB Rating = 78.9
Jason Jefferson: Level 10, Throwing = 81.6, QB Rating = 83.5
Hit Me Terry Tate: Level 27, Throwing = 76.8, QB Rating = 127.3

Now - let's sort by Throwing:

Throwing = 95.09, QB Rating = 62.9
Throwing = 92.37, QB Rating = 93.7
Throwing = 84.00, QB Rating = 78.9
Throwing = 81.60, QB Rating = 83.5
Throwing = 76.80, QB Rating = 127.3

I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

My Level 36 Qb has 90 throwing, and a QB Rating of 118.9

I still think throwing is the most important, but you need to have vision/strength/confidence to support it.

A level 28 guy w/ 95 throwing is obviously unbalanced. Two seasons from now he might be the best of the bunch though.

My level 33 QB has around 82 Throwing with a QB rating in the regular season of 131, and a QB rating in the playoffs of 127. I think a balance of strength, vision, and throwing is the best route.

I don't know - most of the builds weren't open. I just went from the info available.

i will post my build for you here.

Max fire
level 20
strength 27.73
speed 13.8
agility 13.8
jumping 13.8
stamina 23.6
vision 52.78
confidence 22.6
blocking 9
tackling 9
throwing 90.92
catching 13.8
carrying 13.8
kicking 8
punting 8

just finished the last game of the year. against a middle of the pack team he went 15 for 15 178.5 yds and two touchdowns. playing on a heavy favored run team he hit every pass and made so good reads. a few i dont know how he squeezed them in. i probaly wont put anymore points into throwing, since he is at the i think 5th cap, it cost 5 sp to move them up one. once i slam some points into strength i think i may have a primetime QB. what really catches my interest though is that i have had a lot of problems with drops on my team. after putting up throwing about ten more points he had no recievers drop passes, normally he has 6 incompletions due to drops. the back up qb got in for a few pass plays, i think nine in all had five completions and 4 drops.

This is meaningless. Too many external influences on QB rating since this wasn't tested in a vacuum scenario - they have different offensive systems, different surrounding talent, different oppositions, and different values in their other Attributes. Drawing any conclusion from this would be invalid.

Btw, my QB has higher Throwing than almost all of these guys and had a QB rating over 110 in USA Pro, and in the playoffs has a QB rating over 130 I believe. Still, this doesn't mean anything.

All good points. I guess there's no point in even discussing builds, then. At least until you get that vacuum scenario tester up and running.

I bet their other main attributes such as vison and confidence and strength aren't very high or good enough to make the QB with 95 throwing to succeed

Derik Anderson?
No, wait, he can throw far just nowhere near his target.

The skill of throwing well, and not accurately or far is well-shared among most people who casually play football.

I've got 80 throwing and I finished the year with 3800+ yards and 32 TDs with a 92 QB rating. I don't think you need 100 throwing as long as vision and strength is up to snuff.
