Yeah, look at the total votes for the EC compared to WC.

I'm going to go check the logs for timestamps etc on votes. I have a sneaky hunch I'll find something suspicious.

sometimes name means more than stats in all-star voting. you see "names" get in over people that have better stats for the season all the time in all professional sports. they represent the league better. why vote for some flash in the pan when you can vote for prince darius?

It's this way in many positions actually where one conference outnumbers votes than the other conference. You might want to look into all of them...?

Also, in the future and if you have the time, put the stats in tables so that is easier to read and compare between nominees. Having them all shifted and stacked the way they are can make it difficult to easily discern differences.

Ugh, and that All-Star game was in Seattle. I can't watch Mariners games in the two weeks before and after the All-Star break without hearing blah blah Ripken HR blah blah All-Star game 2001. The pitch was such a big meatball Freddy Garcia tried to run out and eat it.

Dumbass All Star votes always are based on popularity.
