The problem with DTs at least in my opinion is they completely dominate lesser teams but if you play an equally good team they sort of disappear a DE can continue to dominate. check out these twos game by game the DT was unstoppable against lesser squads better than the De, but once they started playing equal competition the DT disappears and the DE continues to play well.

The DT is built as a pass rushing machine 60+ AGI, 50+ Speed, 90+ str
the DE is obviously a monster and I won't be giving his build away

60+ agi, 50+ speed, 90+ str is not how you build a pass-rushing machine as a DT. Balance out the str/agi more and you'll get better performance against better linemen.

edit: I'm still developing my DT (level 24) and he has done a good job against all teams. Maybe not so much in # of tackles but I consistently get pressure on the QB whether through sacks or hurries and I only average 37 plays per game in the regular season and 33 in the playoffs.

Untrue, my DT put up 8 tackles, 3 sacks and 4 hurries yesterday against a very good team with an equal level guard. It all comes down to player builds. Your build will not work.

Isn't that the run-stuffer recipe?
