Wait, so you guys are trying to say that the ones coming up are going to be better than DDT and the Aces were/are?

Lol.

I don't think they understand that having more promoted teams probably makes the conference weaker, if the teams such as the Aces and DDT are getting dropped.

East is definitely top-heavy as usual, but seeing the Mustangs/Sin/etc. in the 6 - 9 range really shows how strong the East playoff teams are.

Lol, Boston was a promoted team, lol. You guys in the East sure are confident.

The Aces are a great team, but DDT was a 7/8 seed the last two years. Promotion teams have shown they're plenty capable of that.

If you really think the top teams in AAA are better than what DDT was pre-breakup or what the Aces are at the moment, then you're delusional.

Anyway, just wait till the finals again.

The first place teams in both conferences are AAA teams. In the West, the top TWO teams are AAA teams.

The ACES were an AAA team. What have they even done in Pro? What makes you think the promoted teams we pick up won't be better than the Aces, DDT, and DBS???

AAA #2 East Conference alone has 3-4 teams that would be competitive playoff teams with a chance to win it all next season. West has 2 good teams as well.

USA Pro champ last year was an AAA team.

Ummm, immagonnawin, don't mean to be a stickler, but it is no longer AAA#2. It is The World Pro League. FYI, AA#4 has become The Birthplace of Champions.

The Aces are not an AAA team, we're a BBB team that did it the hard way by actually having to win the fucking league to make it up.

Now it's going to be really gay, no regions, easy promotions. Anybody who is half decent can finish top 3 or 4 and get up because of a gut job these days.

Add it to my list of many reasons I'm done at the end of this season, after we win the Bort Bowl of course.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Bort has said he's keeping regions.

I purposefully did it the same way with GB by buying a BBB team when there were many availible higher up. I don't have any problem with the better teams moving up. If anything, I think what Bort says he is going to do is way too 1/2 assed of a job. Sure, the CPU teams getting dropped will help some leagues a little, but what about all of the 2-14, 3-13 & 4-12 teams that won't get dropped? This won't help nearly as much as many leagues need.

Who this does help a ton are the players that buy gutted team. They were getting massively screwed before. Unfortunately, they players that already bought them are still getting screwed by being stuck in leagues that it's extremely difficult for them to ever be anything better than mediocer in. Winning makes continuing to win a lot easier...Losing makes turning things around extremely hard. Because of sticking in the leagues they're in, most of those owners are damned to being perennial losers, just not quite bad enough to get dropped to where they could compete.

That said, I am thankful that we won up before we were moved up because of CPU teams. Nothing at all against any of the teams that do get jumped, but my goal was to win may way up and I would have felt a little cheated if we hadn't.

So, final tally on interconference week is East 8 West 8. To my mind, the West pulled of more in the way of upsets. The playoffs will be the final arbiter, but I think it's no longer fair to claim the West is the cupcake conference.

To be fair, I don't think anyone claims the West is terrible. They just get crushed in the title game, usually.

It is fairly obvious why. The East has better teams.

And then we'll get to the finals of the east, where one team will win by <10 points, then proceed to beat the team from the west by 20+. Again.

Again, that's not saying the West is terrible, or a cupcake conference, but that, when it counts, in the playoffs, they usually get handled in the title game.
