I think he will drop all the CPU teams and low level human teams to the bottom in their normal promotion/relegation path, and move up a corresponding number from below. I hope. That would retain the current rivalries while leveling competition.

My understanding is that he'll take all the CPU/gutted/sold teams and divvy them up in the lowest level of each "continent", thus all the teams that fit this category from USA Pro, USA AAA, USA AA and USA A will get new owners and be randomly distributed to all the BBB leagues. Since they're all getting reset, there may not be any kind of seeding or attempt to "balance" these teams. Although there are a lot of these teams, there are 16 leagues to distribute them between. even if there are 4 teams per conference in ALL the leagues above BBB, it would still only give 4 teams per BBB conference that would be added.
In that case, likely the participants in the second round of the playoffs would all promote to A and the higher leagues would follow suit until all the gaps left by CPU teams are filled.
In this scenario, Louisville, Lincoln, Red Bank and Appalachian would promote from the East and Texas, LA, Anchorage and Austin would move up from the West. All in all, not a bad thing IMHO because it would pretty much allow a lot of the old rivalries that have been cultivated over the last few seasons to be preserved and/or revived. If my team doesn't win its first round game, Atlanta could join you guys and we'd have a good old time beating up on each other!!! (But sorry guys, I'm not gonna throw the game just to stay in the same league.)
Honestly, I was very apprehensive when Bort first mentioned this, but I think it might work out just fine!

It should help a lot. Leagues will possibly become a little more volatile, with teams coming and going quicker, but I think this large mass change will be a one time event for the most part. There were/are too many too low of level teams in too high level of leagues, and as stated they mess up the league because they will throw off the records of teams that play them vs teams that don't play them.
Wellsboro was one of those teams messing up the league this season. Before I picked them up, they were already headed south for the season, and I quickly realized it was in our best interests for the future to gut the team and look for tomorrow's starters today. There were games in which we started a 1st level QB against teams that had 27-32 as the avg level of their players....
That doesn't do anyone a favor. Stats get messed up, records get biased.
Dropped down a league , our QB who will be starting the season around 8th level, is a lot closer to the talent level that the rest of the league will have. (within 5-7 levels) We may still lose games A LOT, but it won't be the stat padding lottery it was this season.

There's no league to drop down to. This is the lowest level in the USA.
I don't see how moving up the top 4 teams, and adding 4 teams starting from scratch helps anything. Depending on their ability to recruit, the league would most likely look the same.
Just tossing 4 cupcakes into every BBB league would be a mess. It might actually make some leagues less competitive.

I got this team in a semi-gutted state, and would have kept some of the guys I sent away if I had known I would most likely be here next season.
I sent two requests to be moved, the first as soon as they said to do it to be "flagged", the other several days later. I fiddled with my roster in anticipation of this. I also sent one to ask about the crappy fan support, and if there was anything in the works to help those who got a crap team dumped on them in season 5.
I got the answer to the crappy fan support. Basically once I start winning I'll get more fan support. *grin*
Nothin on bein moved.
I guess my team will be stayin, as of right now, tryin to drag back fans while beatin on CPU owned teams, or somethin.
I did send a reply back to the fan support reply explaining my point of view as a paying customer. 'nough said on that.
After gettin to know Da 7, though, I really hope I do stay, now. a great bunch here, and from what I have read from roaming the forums, that can be rare. With the forum for the old 7 guys who will be movin on comin into play, it makes it even better.
Of course, now that I sent them a message sayin I'm not happy I'll be sent to africa, or somethin.
