Actually I think that Slop is a major reason the Baggers are where they are....and yes....you could put almost any similar level QB in place of Zeke and the numbers would be the same if not better.

I think slop has been the difference maker that keeps defensive coordinators up at night worrying.

Zeke is just another QB, granted with good numbers, but come on.

If you want to talk passing, all you have to do it look at Chicago.

Chicago-
5420 yards passing (800 more than second place), 59 Touchdowns, 12 Interceptions, 66.5% passing, 43 passes a game.

Philly-
4550 yards, 45 touchdown, 15 ints. 64% comp., 48 passes a game.

true

but Zeke could drink them under the table

This is the first season anyone gave Zeke a chance to produce, every team he's ever been on has sucked badly. We gave him a chance and he's outperformed our expectations. He was the starting QB of the goombas that were the team before I got the team and man they were really really horrible. I don't blame Zeke for most of his INTs as they were usually passes that the WR either dropped or deflected. I think a few of you guys/girls can understand the beauty of the spread offense and what kind of QB it takes to run it against such higher level competition. And I'm still not saying he should be the MVP, I just want him on the ballot

I think the Maulers are the best team in this conference with the teabaggers a close second. But I have to look at how teams handle my own team and how players perform against good builds at lower levels. I obviously can't see the OT builds that Slop has destroyed game in and game out, I can only compare him to our builds and I have to become suspect of the other OTs in this conference when slop does so poorly against our OTs...

Thanks for listening

Let's throw some other names into the MVP discussion. JR Johnson has been sick week in and week out against great competition. A tribute to the O-line of course but nonetheless an amazing HB.

Simon Fletcher on the Blaze has been outstanding as well. Not one game has he had less than 2 sacks.

Others?

Team Yds/Att
Chicago Thunder 9.5
RGB Berzerk 8.2
Fresno Jaguars 7.6
Philadelphia Demonik 7.3
Roswell Space Pirates 7.2
Anchorage Maulers 6.9
San Diego Blaze 6.7
Tallahassee Teabaggers 6.3
Las Vegas Legends 6.0
Houston Space Cowboys 5.8
Port Moresby Trucks 5.1
So.Cal Beach Bums 4.7
Springville Renagades 4.1
Phoenix Resurrection 3.6
RAVING MAD DAWGS 3.4
Scranton Soaring Midgets 2.8

If we put Zeke on the list of MVP's then we would need to put another 10 QB's on the list as well.
I'm not trying to say he his bad just saying that there is nothing special here.
Above average QB....nothing more ...nothing less.

Of those 10 QBs how many play on a team with an O-line all under level 30 and how many of those QBs are over level 30?32?32+?

Just saying he overperforms for his level and the competition he's been playing, that's all He plays against the second best pass defense in the league tonight, do you think he still puts up 300 yards?

I think any MVP list without a couple players from the BBB13 number offense is madness.

I've got a couple I'll throw in from my team.

WR Ziggy Stardust: 67 receptions, 1197.5 yards, 15 TDs.
WR Muemallamallamoo Smith: 83 receptions, 1134 yards, 17 TDs, only 4 drops.

CB Vontay Davis: 9 Ints, 22 PDs, 2 INT TDs. 11.8 PR Avg. 41.3 KR Avg.

QB Caleb Bailey: 3065 yards, 68%, 25.9 att/gm, 32 TDs, 7 Ints, 9.1 yards/attempt.

HB James Robertson: 21 TDs on only 139 carries. 887.5 yards. 6.4 yards/gm. only 1 fumble lost.

2. Tallahassee Teabaggers- (0) Held Roswell to 74 total yards. They were up 23-0 before Roswell fought back to make it close. I think we can all agree that Warren Slop in the BBB 13 MVP. This guy is on fire… 45 sacks this year? Are you kidding me? I know there are about 20,000 people in GLB that would like to see his build. DAMN!

I don't know, Zeke Star has a strong case to win it, over 1000 yards passing over the number 2 guy and 13 more TDs than the number 2 guy, but our team isn't going to the playoffs, yet his numbers are better than the rest of the conference.

Zeke Star averages like 48 throws a game. of course he has more yards.

ok by your logic, Slop averages what? 50 plays a game? of course he is going to have alot of sacks...............makes no sense right?

wha?? seriously? you're comparing plays vs. attempts?

Slop doesn't have any more plays than other defensive players. Star throws the ball a LOT more than most other QBs.

I have not looked at them all but the QB's for RGB are 27 and 23 while Demonik is 27.

Chicago has more yards, more yards/ att, RGB has more yards/att.

Should we put them all on the MVP balloting?

As for tonights game...the only question is will Zeke throw more TD's or interceptions.
Our defensive backs are hyperventilating over tonights game.

i got a question, can your LB's cover my TE?(none have done it yet) Or will you double and triple team him (what usually happens to me now boo on all you co-ordinators) leaving our WR's open? which way will you go

Your TE doesn't need to be covered if Slop sacks the QB before he throws the ball......just sayin

Wouldn't put JR up. Sure he's got the numbers but we've not really seen the improvements this season that the agent and me have been after. It's been more a result of our system as is.

TEs will always be heavily covered, except for Chicago and Roswell that play sacrifice blitzes occassionally. It's just a question of how good that coverage will be.
