ok so ill throw this out here then, and break down my current mindset...

Biden v Palin - who is better suited to be president?

1st - who trained, armed, funded this previous leader of Iraq?

2nd - you make the arguments against Obama which are the same arguements when i look at Palin as a canidate. what did McCain have to say about her last night when he was asked if she would be suited to be president? she helps the retards (sorry for the retarded here) little to nothing can be said about her aside from the ability to do what others tell her to do/say

as for me being a used car guy - yea haha - i am hurting right now, barely $1k made so far this month but i am still above average as far as the long term goes - if i was to look at the pure money factor McCain would be giving me ~$3k more a year in taxes, but thats not nearly enough to just pick him

i dont blame 1 party for the problems we are facing, but i do think the democrats should get a chance to run the country for 2-4 years (depending on elections) as the Republicans did. does that mean i am voting for Biden, not yet lol

i agree that opening up the Iraq oil fields for consumption in a very oil hungry world is ideal, but we didnt have that going into Bush's presidncy and still gas (with the exception of this last week or 2) was nearly $4 a gallon v $1.88 when he took office. i fail to see how that is an argument since they have yet to tap those fields and get much if any of it into the US and by the time the whole region is stable we will be in just as easily the same $per gallon situation we are in

i do not support Obama/Biden because of the fresh air aspect, as i do not support McCain/Palin for their tax cuts/off shore drilling - i am going to end of the day vote for the guy that i honestly think i am going to get the best bang for my buck and i have yet to figure out who that is going to be

and i totally agree that America is flooded with the most amazing breed of 'special' people who abuse the right to vote, but ~122 million people voted in 2004 (i wasnt one of them) out of the what 275-325 million people here? it seems that there just needs to be a mandated voting program IMO to get more under educated people to the polls, along with the somewhat coherent people like myself to get off their asses and make a decision instead of sitting by and bitching about the results

1. I live in the Western US and since I've been a voter I don't think My vote ever did any help. The president is usually decided before they even include our votes over here. And every voting term, I have voted for the other guy except Bill Clinton. I voted for Hillary in the recent votes and well, what a waste of time. Obama, I don't trust him. He sounds like a damn car salesman to me(Nothin personal frisky) and I can't believe one word that comes outta his mouth.

Businesses are in control of us, and govornement is in control of them. But they take care of them. I feel like a damn pawn in this country. My last job, I worked in road construction. 3 years I put myself in danger of being hit by cars and worked 10+ hours days, not including the drive to my destination which could have been up to 300 miles away and not get paid for it, reimbursed or anything. But heres my point. I had a heat stroke and was fired 2 weeks later when I was released to work. You know how many days I called in sick in 3 years. Never happened. I was a great worker. My boss almost cried when she had to let me go because her boss told her too. I was going to get a supervisors licence that weekend that I paid money to take the class. Yeah, free money for them. Non-refundable.

And forget about an wrongful termination lawsuit. Couldn't find an attourney to take the case. And L&I. WOW!!! Thanks for nothing. They took the side of the construction company.

Whoever stops this from happening to loyal, hard working Americans like myself gets my vote.

Nooooooooooooooooooo. I'd prefer her to Obama though. I'm republican and will be holding my nose voting for McCain, even though he has earned his shot to run.

But I live in a blue state, and it doesn't matter anyways.

You do know the Clinton admin (and the Repub Congress) revoked the laws that allowed the current banking crisis? Congress passed them I grant you, but Clinton signed them into law. He's not some omniscient saint...he's as much as part of this as anyone, and more a part than W because he signed the laws. None of that matters now because neither Clinton nor W are running, but Clinton is as guilty as anyone (including Greenspan). But I'm not going to argue about Clinton on this board...that's for sure.

Congress was on a lot of pressure to get that done, Clinton and dem. minority wanted to put more high risk home buyers a chance to own. It all probably sounded OK at the time. Republicans would have looked bad if they didn't support it.

The opposite of a PRO is CON, thus the opposite of PROGRESS must be CONGRESS.

Don't you love decisions made on popularity not facts or need. One on will ever do the hard thing, since it won't be popular.

Agreed. That's also why everything is so polarized and partisan. With the country split 50/50, I don't see this getting better any time soon.

According to a news report here in TN, low turnout may change for this election. Apparently record numbers of registration numbers. Second hand info, this was from my wife after watching the news.

well unfortunatly i am going to support Vortus on this haha - i am 24 (in 2 weeks) and ive yet to vote ever in my life - the mentality was if i dont vote thats one less thing i have to worry about...did i make the right choice, did the fuckers who voted against me see what they did, ect...

there is an above average chance that ill be voting this election for the sheer fact that i need to make sure the lesser of 2 evils happens
